So me and my Wife were heading out for food but we were unsure what we fancied but I thought of Carmelo's restaurant as we had never eaten there but we have always been aware of the fantastic reputation that Carmelo's has. So we turned up at Lunch time, The restaurant was very quiet but it hadn't long opened, We were warmly greeted and sat at a table for Two. To drink i ordered a pint of Moretti and my Wife ordered a glass of red wine, Drinks came and were well served and delicious a few minutes later the waiter returned to take our our order. To start my Wife ordered Mussels and I ordered the meatballs and we ordered a cheesey Garlic bread to share, The food came they were generous portions and my Wife really enjoyed her Mussels which were well served, fragrant and tasted delicious, My meatballs were amazing and tasted delicious and the meatballs were absolutely huge, The cheesey Garlic bread was so fresh and tasted delicious. For Mains my Wife ordered prawns in a lovely sauce served with seasonal vegetables and i ordered Cannelloni and again the portions were huge, The food was well presented and my Wife really enjoyed her Prawns and they were very fresh and my Cannelloni was a huge portion and honestly one of the best Cannelloni's I have ever eaten. The Restaurant is beautiful, Spotlessly clean, Excellent value for money, Fantastic Customer service, great drinks menu, Great drinks, Fantastic food, Polite and friendly staff etc. Me and my Wife post alot of reviews on Google of our experiences whether that is locally, Nationally or internationally when we travel abroad, We always give our honest opinions and feedback on everything from price, Value for Money, Food, drink, service, cleanliness etc. We review everything from Flights, Taxis, accommodation, Beach clubs, Restaurants, Bars, Cafes, Beauty treatments, Takeaways, Airbnbs, hotels, Football stadiums etc and we have nearly 31+ Million Views on Google alone. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆

We ordered a "Fresh" seafood platter and some Arancini balls from the new tapas menu. The food took 50 minutes to arrive despite the place being extremely quiet. The seafood platter turned up eventually minus the bread and lemon mayonnaise as advertised on the menu. The Arancini balls also did not show up. The seafood platter is not what you would imagine, none of the products tasted fresh. It came as a bed of cold muscles, mini octopus and salad, surrounded by a few tasteless prawns, salmon and what tasted like pickled fish out of a jar. The excuse for the delay in bringing the food was it takes time to prepare fresh fish which I would understand if any cooking was involved in this platter however everything was cold and I have tasted better tinned fish from my local supermarket. The calamari may have been ok had they not have placed them on top of the cold soggy fish making cold and also soggy. After waiting for a further 5 minutes the bread arrived. I had to ask again for the lemon Mayonnaise, once that came I had to ask again for the Arancini balls which were luke warm and tasteless. We ate a few mouthfulls and decided to leave. Not once were we asked if the food was ok. The only good thing about this meal was the Gin and Tonic.

Came for a works Xmas do and had a great time. The atmosphere was fantastic! We were in the room upstairs and the girl behind the bar was so nice! She was so friendly and efficient, people weren't waiting long to be served and there were quite a few of us too. We had pizzas that were delicious 😋 and given that we were a last minute Xmas party, can forgive the wait time on it coming up to us as the restaurant was busy too. I loved the decor! So modern and inviting, the tables upstairs were a little bit rickety though, kept turning round and tipping up on us haha and there's not a huge amount of parking there but there is a large car park down the road with restrictions. Otherwise, a well recommended place to go.

Shocking place. Driven past so many times and always thought it looked a nice place to eat. Give the pretty location I expected more. Went there for my mate's 40th, with a party of about 12. The service was terrible. When the food did eventually arrive we had to send back a couple of meals because it took so long to bring all the meals out. From the first to last plate must have been almost 10 minutes. Whilst we were eating we weren't asked if wanted drinks so we having to get up during the meal to buy drinks at the bar. I know that might seem a minor thing, but if you're sitting down to eat a meal in a restaurant you expect a degree of service. Other places manage it perfectly fine. When it came to desserts the 'Italian Ice cream' was simply vanilla ice cream, which they also ran out of mean three people didn't get what they asked for. The food itself was also very mediocre. They also pack to many people in with to few staff to manage. There was a table so close to ours that the waiters had to tip toe between them to get past. All in all, not a pleasant experience and have no intention...
