2MT CAFFE — Restaurant in Chelmsford

First timer yesterday morning. Two of us, just for coffee. Excellent staff who obvs know how to welcome and make diners feel comfortable & at home. The cappuccino & latte were stand out in strength, flavour & with a velvety texture. So good that we ordered a second round. The deco is stylish and adds to the feeling that you could be in a Mediterranean bar.

We agreed to return next week for lunch from a varied menu which you can view online. First impressions are important and 2MT on the main road from Chelmsford to Roxwell won us over to return soon. Well have a more in-depth look at the menu next time.

Lovely experience. Cafe is listed on the UK Biker cafe app. Was greeted and acknowledged by a friendly member of staff immediately upon arrival. Ordered a ‘small breakfast’ with a coffee which came to £14.95. The breakfast was lovely and well seasoned/cooked. Service was prompt and there was no waiting in getting a table. The setting is cosy and cafe was clean apart from the toilet which could have benefited from a mid service fresh up in my opinion. Absolutely lovely little cafe near Chelmsford. Offers a genuinely wide range of different breakfast EG full English, European, middle Eastern Shakshuka etc. The lunch options look great to but I've only had breakfast and brunch there.

The café is bright and airy, the service is good and the food is excellent. Well worth making the effort to go there. Can get busy at weekends (it's a good cafe). There's a hand car wash on the same site if you want to get the car cleaned whilst you're eating too.

PS If ordering the full English I personally recommend asking them to make it a bit more...
