Coffee was the perfect temperature & not burnt unlike certain chains in Chelmsford. Accommodating young staff too. Treats for kids. Doggie-friendly & pride banners. * It's not just the cleaning of the machine; software is important as hard water residue is not good for coffee when it is great for tea. The quality of beans are massively important. I recommend outsourcing from Driink in Chelmsford. They're the local roasters and the best in the area. Burnt coffee is often oxidised and old as well.

Come here all the time with the dog Molly, brilliant and kind staff. Molly was upset it was closed today as she went to the door to say hello!

Got a small rolo brownie and an iced mocha....somehow cost £9.10(didn't realise i was charged that at first, my fault i guess). Checked the menu after...cakes are £3.50....so that means I was charged £5.60 for the iced mocha...which is ridiculous. The prices of which were not displayed in store (iced drinks are just on a promotional A board). So it appears i was either conned or overcharged one way or another. To top it off, the mocha had very little flavour and was extremely disappointing (even if it was cheaper), then cake was ok , if somewhat small.

I know it's a small , independent business and I'm all for supporting them and wishing them well. I understand about business rates, produce cost rising etc but the overcharged price combined with fairly poor coffee was just...

The place is nice, simple, near a playground and nice park.

I love to support independent businesses but cappuccino for 4,85£ is just incredibly expensive. This was the most expensive coffee I ever had.

Menu price 4.20£ plus 65p for the “luxury”of coconut milk? It’s not like you add coconut milk on the top of the other one, it’s a substitute.

I was not informed about the coconut milk additional charge when I ordered the coffee, this is probably what was the most disappointing.

To be fair the coffee is really nice but you should be informing the customers about...

Nice place close to a beatiful park but 5.45 for an iced coffe is just insane! Unfortunatly will not go back.

Edit: Was an iced mocha. So basically a mocha with ice. What makes it so special to cost 5.45 I cannot understand. You also need to understand that money is tight for businesses but also costumers. I am all about helping independent businesses but to pay this for a coffe when I take my kids to a park is day light robery. So unfortunally next time I will take my own coffee. What is a shame because if the price was reasonable I would happily continue to...
