Although have been a resident of Chelmsford area for 3 years this gem of a pub escaped my attention being just off Boreham church! Great selection of real ales, really nice home cooked food, friendly bar staff and a lovely garden...ticked all the boxes for what I look for in a great pub!

Excellent Pizza and Cider festival. Well recommend. Brilliant live music. Thanks guys for a fantastic night out. Definitely deserve the 5💫👍 Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Visit with a group of guys from the U3A Real ale group. A good pint or two of 'Bobby' from Green King, together with Steak and kidney pie and veg was a really good way to spend a lunchtime. Good village pub hidden away in the village centre. Worth...
