Simply a brilliant pub selling excellent food with superb service in a great location. We went for a valentines dinner and are very much looking forward to our next trip. Although we took the car this time Sarah explained they are happy for us to overnight in the Motorhome. We returned in July 2020, shortly after the pub reopened, for an anniversary dinner. This was booked on the day the pub announced it would be reopening. We turned up a little early to find we had been seated by the entrance to the pub, (double French doors into garden) immediately adjacent to the greeting lectern. Clearly the table was not in a Covid19 safe position as everyone entering the pub would be standing directly beside the table; no mor than an arms length. There was an empty table to the rear of the dining room. Although this table was the same size as the one we were offered we were told it was a table for four and not available. We spoke to Sarah and explained our safety concerns; she said “there is nothing she could do” we left not wishing to risk our health - no apology was given! Naturally we won’t be returning or recommending this pub to anyone again.

I have previously done a review on this pub via another email. After how satisfactory I found the food and service last time I was here it made me want to come back. I came here again with my girlfriend for another roast dinner, and I’ve got to say how amazing the staff were again, they were very attentive even though it was quite busy and I was very impressed. Now per my last review I stated that it was the best roast I’ve had, which come to think of it wasn’t entirely truthful as today they out did themselves and topped last time’s performance. The presentation was immaculate and the roast as a whole was 10 times tastier. If anyone is looking for a roast dinner I urge you to check out The Partridge Inn. Thank you to the staff of The Partridge Inn!!

Went for a late lunch on a Sunday and found the pub to be charming and quiet with ample parking. The garden is absolutely lovely too. Ordered Scampi and Chips and we're sadly extremely underwhelmed with the quality (clearly reheated) and portion sizes, given that it was nearly £20. Nearby tables did have roasts and they looked to be good portion sizes and quality. For a very empty pub (approximately 10 patrons there in total) I was surprised that we had orders come to our table a couple of times that weren't for us. I would go again, but I would not order the Scampi and Chips, and communication between staff members needs to obviously be improved.

Unfortunately our recent experience in The Partridge Inn in Singleton this evening was very, very disappointing. For a pub that sells itself as dog friendly it is definitely, our experience was that it is definitely NOT dog friendly! We had ordered our food and received half of our meals and had ordered cocktails to go with our meal, after ordering and being served the tart I was told it was not the tart I had ordered and the waitress had been informed wrongly by the kitchen, however, I accepted the tart without question! I then began to eat my tart which turned out to be burnt but again I made no fuss! We had taken our dogs with us to the supposedly ‘dog friendly’ pub however after the dogs barking twice for a very short period we were asked, very rudely, to put our dogs in the car! We had no car with us as we had walked to the ‘dog friendly’ pub so left! We would Not recommend this pub to anyone with a dog or who is not a local as it was quite clear both dogs or visitors this the area are not welcome!

In response to the reply received from the Partridge Inn to my review left yesterday. Can I please make clear we were not given the options of taking the dogs in the garden, home or in the car, we were told, in an abrupt manner to put the dogs in the car! Also, they did not bark multiple times, they barked twice and were quietened immediately! Also, nothing about the managers approach was polite, it was actually extremely rude. And to finish, we obviously did not pay for our food as we did not get the chance to eat it.

We have just been sitting in The Fox Goes Free in Charlton for the last two hours with our dogs without any incident or complain.

Unfortunately you will not get the chance to...

Fantastic Experience at The Partridge Pub in Singleton

The Partridge Pub in Singleton exceeded all expectations during my recent visit. Situated conveniently close to Goodwood, this charming establishment offers a perfect blend of excellent service, family-friendly amenities, and a picturesque setting.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, who provided attentive service throughout our time there. Their hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience.

The pub's large garden is a highlight, featuring a beautiful landscape with ample seating and a dedicated kids' playground that kept our little ones entertained for hours. On top of that, there's often a bouncy castle set up, adding an extra layer of fun for children.

The public events hosted at The Partridge Pub are a testament to its vibrant atmosphere. We had the pleasure of enjoying live music in the garden, which added to the lively ambiance and made for a memorable evening.

The food at The Partridge Pub is equally impressive. We indulged in their delicious offerings, from hearty pub classics to fresh salads, all prepared with care and using quality ingredients. A standout feature was the pizza bar in the garden, where we enjoyed freshly made pizzas with a variety of toppings to choose from.

Overall, The Partridge Pub in Singleton is a gem worth visiting. Whether you're looking for a relaxing meal, a family-friendly outing with activities for kids, or simply a pleasant place to unwind in a beautiful garden setting, this pub delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it and look forward to...

Came here a couple of years ago and loved the atmosphere of the place, so came back last week when we were in the area again (both times we stayed in an Airbnb cottage on the lane behind the pub). It has recently been taken over by a new owner and they seem to be doing a fantastic job. We were greeted warmly and were given a choice of tables to sit at for dinner. The beer was good and we were really impressed by the menu. We ended up having three courses, despite not initially intending to, because we just wanted to order everything! Having been impressed by the menu, we were even more impressed by the quality of the food - what an incredibly skilled chef. My partner had the cheese soufflé and I had Jerusalem artichoke soup with pear and walnut granola. We both then had partridge for our main course. All the food was cooked to perfection and the dishes were well designed with complementary combinations of flavours and textures. I have no doubt that the food alone will build an excellent reputation for this place. This, alongside the warm, cosy atmosphere and great service, creates the perfect combination for the best dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place we will certainly return when we are next...
