Title: A Delightful Dining Experience for the Whole Family

Review:

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The attentive waitstaff immediately made us feel at home. They were quick to take our orders, ensuring that every detail was noted to deliver a personalized dining experience.

The food arrived promptly, and we were pleased to find that our order was correct down to the last detail. The generous portions were a pleasant surprise, providing excellent value for the price. Each dish was beautifully presented, making our meal not just a feast for the palate, but also for the eyes.

What truly set this restaurant apart was its ability to cater well for the whole family. The diverse menu offered something for everyone, from the pickiest of eaters to the most adventurous foodies. The kids’ menu was particularly impressive, featuring healthy and delicious options that our little ones thoroughly enjoyed.

The tasty food was the star of the show. Each dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavors that had us savoring every bite. The ingredients were fresh, and the skillful seasoning showcased the chef’s culinary expertise. It was evident that a lot of thought and care had gone into creating a menu that would appeal to a wide range of tastes.

In conclusion, our dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of fantastic. The attentive service, correct orders, generous portions, and delicious food all contributed to a memorable meal that everyone enjoyed. We left the restaurant with full bellies and happy hearts, already looking forward to our next visit. This restaurant has our highest recommendation for anyone seeking a family-friendly dining experience with top-notch food...

Starting positive, the waiters/waitresses were amazing. One young waiter in particular did an amazing job attending our table and I'd like to make that point clearly, he is a great credit to the establishment and both myself and the party i was with were all well looked after during his care. The manager however was rude, and out of line in his attending of our table. Now firstly, I myself eat steak more times in a single month than most individuals do in a year, so I know what I'm talking about where steak is involved. It's rare in itself that I ever send a something back to the kitchen, depending on certain factors however it has been known to happen. In the end I want what I've asked for, especially considering I'm paying the charge. Never before though have I had the management present themselves to the table solely to tell me that the food was right and that I was wrong. This is both extremely unprofessional, and an obvious example of his poor character. The issues were soon resolved and I found the food to be amazing thereafter. Worth the price, (which might I add is more than one might expect) ... on all other accounts the food was served well and although the visit was quick it was...

We were faced with trying to find a suitable venue for a funeral wake - being close to Christmas this was never going to be easy but the Walnut Tree fitted us in their top room despite the fact they had other bookings throughout the day and were going to be very busy. The manager was simply fantastic - in all our communications with him he was sensitive and helpful. Suitable buffet food was chosen with slight adjustments as we had people who would be coming in from the cold. As it was I misjudged the timing of the service and everyone rolled up early. The staff (who were busy serving another party at the other end) were not phased by this in anyway whatsoever - Manager said not to worry - he got hot drinks sorted very quickly and readjusted the timings of the hot buffet food. A funeral is a sad time but I can honestly say the atmosphere, service, food and kindness shown got everyone in a happy mood - we shared stories and good times.

Mark - on behalf of my family I would like to extend a big thank you - I promised I would give you this review which is a small thing considering what you did for us. I will certainly be coming in for a bit of dining when I am back down...

Very easy to get to and good parking. We booked a table and this was reserved for us (17:30). As per covid instructions we had to wear masks to be seated which was done quickly. Our drinks order was taken straight away. The specials board was then brought over and we had a menu on the table. 15 mins later someone came and took our order. We had the set Sunday lunch menu which cost £18.95 for 2 courses. We also asked for a jug of water which was provided with both ice lemon. I ordered the turkey roast and prawn with crayfish starter. Really enjoyed the starter. The turkey was very well cooked and even though its breast slices, it was not dry. I asked for more gravy, not because there was insufficient gravy given, but because I like A LOT of gravy. We were given a jug full of gravy. The portion sizes are great. I felt very full by the end. The food didn't take long to be served. Whilst we were eating a lady came and lit the candle on our table. Didn't use the facilities so cant comment on that. Not the best roast I've had but it was worth the money and I would reccomend.

Stayed at the lakeside holiday park less than 1 mile from the walnut tree bar and restaurant on our last night decided to stay local to eat out and was so pleasantly surprised, the welcome was lovely, friendly and warm, I had the pork loin with dauphinoise potatoes which was out of this world, my wife had the pork and leak sausages and mash both dishes were delicately seasoned and plentiful. The chocolate brownie with dairy I e cream and chocolate sauce was incredible, myself I had the vanilla cheesecake with passionfruit coulis with mango sorbet all made in house again one of the best deserts I've had in a long time, it's no surprise that booking is recommended as after we arrived it got busy very quickly, but a little gem tucked about a mile off the A27 near Chichester definitely a must go to if your in the area
