1 star is too good for this place. We were looking forward to dining here after its re-branding with a new name and lick of paint, however, I'm afraid the service hasn't improved, in fact, it's got worse. First, we arrived at 8 and was asked to sit in the conservatory whilst our table was prepared, 20 minutes later, after waiter's had walked past us several times I asked if we could order a drink! The drink were brought but before we took a sip the waiter knocked them over, drenching our legs, shoes, handbag & clothes. After being re-seated and new drinks brought we sat and sat and sat. We weren't the only ones waiting, but slowly, very slowly, people were led to their tables. After another 30 minutes we asked if we could give them our order, we thought it might speed things up....it didn't. Orders taken, just 2 pizza's, we continued to sit and wait. After another 10 minutes we asked if our table was ready yet, I explained that we'd been waiting for 1 hour. How long can it take to cook 2 pizza's?!!! Arh! You probably think that all the tables were full.....no, there were plenty empty. 1 more minute the waiter promised, so we waited and waited, another 7 minutes passed but nothing, so we stood up and walked out, I looked around to tell someone that we couldn't wait any longer, but like the previous hour, there was nobody around, nobody paying any attention, so we left. Excellent high quality food with attentive service.

Visited this evening as a group of 11 people for a surprise birthday meal. We arrived 10/15 minutes early and the table was already prepared and even had a high chair seated at the table already as requested. The waiters were friendly and took our drinks order promptly as members of our party arrived at different times.

I had the King Prawns in white wine sauce and they were phenomenal. I believe you can always tell the quality of a restaurant based on their prawns and they were fantastic. For my main course I had the Risotto Pollo and, again, this was excellent - the seasoning and flavour was spot on. I did think the portion looked quite small however, the size was deceiving and I was comfortably full after.

One of the children in our party didnt have a starter, and she was upset when others were eating and she wasn't - the waiter picked up on this and kindly asked if she'd like her main to be cooked sooner and brought to the table which was a nice touch.

I also ordered a meatballs and spaghetti dish for my ten month old and as she's a baby she did make quite a mess and the staff were not phased at all (I have been to cafes / restaurants were the messy eating is frowned up). All kids meals come with a dessert of ice cream.

I like this restaurant, but this evening i was very disappointed I ordered cannelloni, but when it came the young waiter wasn't sure if it was cannelloni or lasagne. So I dipped into it, and it was lasagne, not what I ordered. I looked around and all the waiters were busy. I should have called someone over, but my friends already had their meals, so I started eating it, and of course, it was fine, just not what I ordered. When the waiter came to ask if everything was alright, I said the food was fine, just not what I ordered. He said it was very busy in the kitchen, but didn't offer anything. I said I don't want to make a fuss, I will eat the lasagne. Later, we ordered coffees, I thought maybe someone would apologise or say the coffee would be free, but no. When the bill came, I said to the waitress that I was surprised to be charged at least for the coffee, she said the manager wouldn't sanction free coffee. This one sour note spoiled the whole experience and evening for me.....absolutely no effort or apology for their mistake, presumably because I didn't make a big fuss or complain enough.
