Greggs — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

Visited for a late snack lunch today, only 11C outside but for some reason they had the air conditioning on so very cold whilst sat eating. Before leaving I visited the ( one and only) toilet. Encouraging sign outside the wc states the toilet is 'checked regularly' and to let staff know if there are any problems. Well, it was FILTHY. Dried faeces above the waterline and right up to the toilet rim, top of bowl under seat ( seat was up when I entered) COVERED in dust, dirt and pubic hairs. I really needed a pee so had to use it then I told staff at the shop counter. The manager accompanied me back into thebtoilet and I pointed out the disgusting state of his regularly checked toilet. He seemed bemused by what was obviously a NEVER checked or cleaned toilet. ( where does Gregs recruit these people????) DONT VISIT!!! NOT...

While staff were friendly they were not very helpful. Couldn't tell me how long I would need to wait on a sausage roll - they had NONE ready. Couldn't tell me if the chicken bakes that were sitting there were still warm. I ended up going with a chicken bake and a lorne sausage roll and whilst the lorne sausage wasn't bad they only gave me between 1/3-1/2 of a slice!! Don't plan on...
