Greggs — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

I often go to Greggs in Criagmillar shopping center as this one is the nearest to my home. The manager working there is very rude. Her name is either 'Tona' or 'Dona'. They were not even wearing there name badges, so I had to ask her the name. The manager is so rude and her expressions are so bad at times. This has been the 4th incident with me with this particular store. I visited this shop yesterday and asked for a fresh margherita pizza slice and she denied that the store is about to close so can't prepare the fresh one. It was still 20 mins left , as the store classes at 7 and I went at 6.40. They did not have anything left at 6.40, so why the store was even open? This is the 3rd time, I have faced same kind of situation. And in the other instance, we ordered for take-away and after that it started raining, as the store was empty and there were empty tables, we quickly decided to eat in the store itself and the manager lady was giving us really bad looks and was talking to her colleague something about us. So, I had bad experience with this shop for 4 times. I go to many Greggs stores and they have never denied preparing the fresh slice of margherita even if it is closing time as it hardly takes even a minute to prepare it. But this store manager, I have not seen anyone this rude and that too not just once but 4 times. No apology that she is sorry she can't make the fresh one now, she was just like 'can't make the fresh one as store is about to close'. Really upset with this experience and not gonna visit...

Everytime I go in the food is very fresh , the staff are very helpful , kind considerate , management is amazing as everything is ALWAYS spotless and that's with the poor staff rushed off their feet , 5 star custom and customer service , I can't fault this Greggs at all..

Highly recommended to all , the staff are VERY polite and don't mind having the curtesy to ask how your day is which is great...

I've dealt with Sharon the store manager a few times and she's the greatest (like all staff) they bend over backwards to help!!

I would like to commend Sharon and her band of happy colleagues for all that they do to make visiting this Greggs a pleasure. Staff are friendly and helpful, can't do enough and treat all customers with respect. Personally they are a God send to me especially after covid when I had no one to talk too, it's great going into shop getting a cup of tea, welcomed by name by staff. A million...
