The restaurant was a really nice size. It was modern with brightly coloured seating and walls. The staff were accommodating and friendly. They had a good selection of food on the menu and also had take away option. They had some nice beers wines and spirits to choose from too. They were kind enough to place a candle in the curry for my partners birthday as they were not having a cake and we were not staying for dessert. The food was tasty and the bagged up the leftovers upon my request as I had left a lot uneaten.

Had a dine in experience @jhaal. People are to be honest never pass you smile & are boring. Secondly every dish has the same colour & very big pieces of onions and tomatoes. We came for a Buffet which was not even served as a Buffet. Later they demand money to take it away. They will present you food & would not like you to take away your remaining food which is non-sense. Either way if they allow you to take it away then they will ask you for money. Had a bad experience overall.

Visited after spending all day at the Chappel beer festival. We did book a table as there was 10 of us but there is plenty of space. The food portions were large and extremely tasty. They also do a Sunday buffet which I'm going to try out. Highly recommended giving Jhaal a try. Friendly and fast service all round too.

So I order from here quite regularly never had a problem with the food itself 10 out of 10 I can’t say the same for the customer service though unfortunately. After paying £62 for my order which they told me would be an hour, The food didn’t arrive so I called up and they said the food will be 10 minutes. 30 minutes later i call the restaurant back and they say they’re sending it in 20 minutes. It goes past the 20 minutes and still no food, so I call back they say 10 minutes again! 20 minutes later still no food can you guess what’s coming next? yeah your right will send the food in 20 minutes! anyway after many times phoning and waiting.. The food finally arrives.. they forgot 3 Rice dishes! so we called them up to explain and very rudely they tell us it’s our fault and we didn’t order the rice even though it was on the receipt that we had paid for it. The guy on the phone was very rude and obnoxious and threatening I think he may have some anger issues and hung up the phone on me. I will never order from here again I hope nobody else has to experience this it’s such a shame because the food...

Really disappointed with the delivery service and the fact we had a missing dish from our order. Ordered a take away, which was simple enough to order online. Added a comment to not have one of the dishes to be spice as it was for young children. Payment confirmed and time of delivery given, great. Food came and instantly saw that the bag didn't look in great condition. Looked inside the bag and all the food had spilled everywhere. With closer inspection it looked as though the bag had had something very heavy on top of it! After cleaning the spillage, noticed that there was a dish missing. At this point i was not in a right frame of mind to want to argue with them to get it replaced. And...to top it off, the dish I requested not to be spicy was very spicy and the children couldn't eat it! What was meant to be a treat night for our family, ended up being a...

I have been eating out on my own on business for over 30 years and Midweek when most indian places are quieter but still amazed how some staff look at you as though you have two heads when you ask for a table for one, and no different here. Then I waited 15 mins before being asked if I would like a drink and menu. I would add they where not that busy! I know how hot it hs been but when you are sat so close to the air con unit you start to feel as though you are in a fridge. The food was actually quite good after being served 50 minutes from arrival, but the air con soon sent it cold.

No one asked if everything was ok and no one saw me leave to say thank you and at this point they had around 8 people in.

I normally eat at the 'Way to the Raj' about 1.5 miles from the Marks Tey Hotel and...
