Mo's Cafe — Restaurant in Colchester

Visited this cafe for a quiet coffee while my other half had her hair at the salon across the road. This is a typical 'greasy spoon cafe', and I mean that in a good way. It is a clean, simply presented establishment, providing traditional no thrills food, served by helpful friendly staff. The real indicator to the quality of the food, is the continuous stream of patrons coming in for breakfast, construction workers, locals who from conversations going on are regular visitors. Extensive menu . Food was good. Very clean.

Bit of a language barrier though. We wanted to make our own breakfast as menu said you could. But man wanted us to just pick a set breakfast I think..

Since moving to the area I have been a regular visitor to Mo’s. The cooked breakfasts are superb! Portion sizes are extremely generous too!
