A fantastic family run business. Best breakfast we've ever eaten 🩷 Not greasy or heavy. So delicious. The quality of the food and the way it is cooked is well worth the price - hats off to the chef!!!! AKA The owner Rosie's mum. Service was friendly, caring, and attentive. Nothing is too much to ask for. I Had a gorgeous oat iced latte with vanilla syrup, made by the wonderful Phillip too! 😄 This was our first time visiting and we couldn't fault it. We sat outside (on the only table that was outside) and it was so nice to watch the world go by, and to hear the atmosphere of the café. Dedham is a lovely place to visit. Rare to have a dining experience like this anymore. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Popped in for an afternoon coffee and cake. Peanut butter cake was fab and flat white coffee was spot on. The staff were lovely and welcoming. It was really noticeable the staff were being inclusive of everyone, coming and going, cyclists, dogs, children and elderly. Lovely cosy setting it really is worth a visit. A year prior we visited the Essex Rose Tearoom just down the road and although also quite nice, we preferred the Old Bakery Cafe.

This is now a regular weekend treat for me. Great friendly relaxed atmosphere and the most amazing delicious cakes - carrot cake and courgette, lime and pistachio my current favourites. The bagel brunch is great value and also very yummy and if celebrating I recommend a glass of pink fizz with it. The coffee is also an absolute treat with oat milk and coconut milk options. This cafe is an absolute treasure and a great little asset for Dedham

Lovely little venue for a quick bite. Ordered the Old Bakery breakfast. The food was lovely and well presented. The one small issue was that the toast was cold which for me spoilt the meal. The rest of the food was delicious. The place was clean and fresh, although the restrictions on the path outside separated our group of 3. The service was truly lovely, the owners were kind, apologetic about the seating outside and gave great service. The price of the meal was in keeping with the area where you'd expect to pay a little more in a charming village in a higher class area. Will...

Had a lovely vegetarian breakfast after our walk in Dedham however just wish the portion sizes were bigger to reflect the price. Food was good quality and well presented, was disappointed by the lack of food on the plate for what we were expecting would be a full breakfast. Left still feeling hungry. There wasn’t much spinach or tomatoes. The breakfast could have done with some baked beans on the side without having to pay extra. Still giving full stars as I enjoyed it and will return (for lunch instead) but hope you can improve on the...
