Nice old pub on the way to Cirencester on the Gloucester Road at Stratton. Nice drive there. Not alot of parking but places around to park. Plenty of seating inside and couple of tables outside. They do show sport. Only had drinks which was reasonably priced. Would go again

Very friendly pub, we spent a lovely bank holiday Monday evening in here whilst visiting the area. Those skittles were fun! What a lovely place. Great welcome by the lady running the place. Hope we can visit again.

What an absolute gem of a pub, went there to watch the England game after ringing a few days earlier to see if they were showing it. Phone enquiry was very friendly and the welcome on the day was even better, a local pub full of local people and even though we we were "outsiders" from the hotel up the road we were treated as locals by everyone. The following day we walked past on our way into Cirencester and Tina and co, who were sat outside, not only recognised us but remembered our names. This is the kind of pub you want as a local, so much so we are thinking of moving house so it can...

A proper pub - I thought these had all but disappeared. Lovely, traditional cosy beamed front bar. No loud music, people actually talking to each other. 4 cask ales - tried 2 and they were very good. Friendly lady behind the bar and a nice old pub dog. Large room out the back with traditional skittle alley, darts, pool, etc... About 20 minute walk from Cirencester centre - well worth the...

But the drillmans with Denise and Dick is a great pub, with old charm and values, and very good Beers, they have several different beers all real, and doombar. Its a freindly nice pub and they have got it right in these day of doom for the pub trade. we should all...
