A group of five of us went for breakfast at The Kitchen today. We arrived and chose some items from the breakfast menu, queued up so we could pay separately. 3 of us ordered and paid and my friend and I who were next in the queue were told as it was 11.30 we wouldn’t be served any food! I pointed out that we only wanted crumpets but were told they were short staffed and they needed to prepare for lunch. I did explain what a ludicrous policy that half our table were allowed food while the other half had to make do with nothing. I was told by the manager there was nothing that could be done!! Outrageously terrible service and attitude. Take your own food. They don’t deserve your money.

Shockingly bad value for money, £8.95 for a tiny slice of pork pie and a small garnish of salad. The pie probably weighed about 100g. We also had a toastie for £10.50, again just regular cheese and ham toastie with some mustard and a small side of salad. Both tasted good, but nowhere good enough to justify the price tag. I’ll remember to pack sandwiches next time, it’s daylight robbery.

Hidden price increases by drastically reducing content of rolls and using a much cheaper bacon with lots of fat. Getting worse Higher Prices; Poor quality; Smaller Portions; Under staffed and Very Slow Service - 30 mins + wait for bacon bap.

I would recommend bringing a picnic to westonbirt. To try and keep this brief there was a 30 minute wait for a panini, salads and hot dogs. We were warned but after a long queue to order, we had little choice. The waitress was somewhere between pretty grumpy with us and disinterested when tried to point out we didn't order any hot chocolates when they arrived at the table, we ended up just accepting them to avoid an argument. After the 30 minutes, only the adults food turned up and we were left with 2 very sad, hungry children. They appeared to have messed up our order but staff were not interested or available to complain to. Biggest waste of time and money in...

Came for lunch yesterday, it wasn't very busy. The staff was generally grumpy and not up to their jobs: What looked like a lady manager, she told us to 'stand below the yellow line for the queue? she also removed the menus so no one can see them?? The chap at the cashier told us the wait was at least 30 mins - ok. It arrived in 15 as they were not busy around 2 pm. the same lady manager brought us food with no cutlery and just abruptly said: 'the cutlery is over there ' and walked away. This woman should not be working there, we were left with no appreciation for our custom and as someone guilty to be visiting whilst they'd rather be...
