Newly opened and nicely busy, even for a late lunch at 2pm which is good. Lovely light, spacious interior with lots of seating inside and out. The staff were friendly and attentive. High chairs available for little ones. I ordered the Ploughman's lunch with ham and it was huge and delicious! My other half had the Croque Madame which was equally as good, and the kids had toasties which were also excellent. Well worth a look for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

A really special café in a lovely country setting. Plenty of parking space at the front and a pleasant outdoor section at the rear. A lovely selection of hot and cold food, well filled sandwiches and delicious cakes/biscuits along with great tea/coffee and soft drinks. The very attentive, friendly staff make the difference at the Farmhouse Kitchen.

Great new barn café restaurant. Lovely quality food prepared in front of you with local meats, bread, cakes and veg. Coffees are good, just need to work on the temperature and over-steaming milk. Such nice cakes enjoyed. Well priced menu for the morning ciabattas and small breakfasts. A new fave!

Relatively a new spacious building with lots more covers compared with the earlier facilities in the shop area. The food quality continues to be fresh and of great quality and appears to be a lot more choice. This little gem comes highly recommended. If you haven't been there yet make a visit. 18-10-22 This place becoming well established and still has that great presence, food and service, runs perfectly parallel with the well stocked farm shop. 18-04-23 Staff very pleasant and fare great as always. However, I have noticed that the double height of this really magnificent building amplifies the chatter and background music to such an extent that canbe very unpleasant at times and certainly shortens my time here. I have been in the professional music business all my life. This building certainly "rings" at a certain frequency and have casually measured volume at around 80db at times. Don't get put off great food and service. 20-12-23 No change, just as noisy and a little pricy for what it is- I've avoid this place at times for the occasional poor service only to be high charges for something...

Such an amazing little cafe, have been here a few times now for breakfast and lunch. A beautiful atmosphere in a very gorgeous building. The food is of very high quality and coffee is up there with the best (I do ask for it extra hot) The staff are very lovely and friendly and go that extra mile to make sure customers leave feeling well looked after. We had to wait a while for food today but it was so Worth it and the chef/ manager came personally to apologise for the wait and to make sure we had drinks whilst we waited. Went above and beyond for customer service. Thank you for a...

First week, it was incredibly busy but that is a good sign. The space is light and airy and there are lots of places to sit inside and out, with a small balcony area above. The staff were very friendly and attentive to any questions.

We ordered some toasties, hot chocolate as a tea. The toasties were generously filled, crispy and tasty. The hot chocolate was nice too, I really enjoyed it. It wasn't too sweet and was comparable to a Swiss Hot Chocolate and the tea was refreshing.

Look forward to returning and sitting in, I am sure in a few weeks, everything will settle and won't...
