First time I had been here tonight & what can I say... The pub has a lovely atmosphere, all the staff have a wonderful sense of humour, they are warm, welcoming & down to earth which, is everything I love in people. They have a great menu, the food is really good & I enjoyed both the main & dessert I chose (mushroom tart, fries & salad then, the jam roly poly & custard - omg sooo good!) food arrived within a short space of time & was lovely & hot, presented well & tasted just as yummy as it looked. Excellent value for money. Will definately be going back as soon as possible, it was the ideal place for the 4 of us. This is an amazing pub. Its cosy, friendly, and extremely reasonable on prices. ,Martin and his staff are extremely welcoming. The food is outstanding good old traditional grub. Lovely pub with lovely staff. The atmosphere is very homely and the food is home cooked, fresh and delicious. My friend loved having lunch and the left overs were packed for home, which was very thoughtful and lovely considering the present situation with living crisis cost.
