This is a lovely place to go in between hikes around this area. It’s bright and cosy, warm and relaxing and offers a nice little place to take a break. The staff is super friendly and the menu is varied. The cakes were excellent and I would definitely recommend these (I tried quite the selection too!). The sausage roll was a little bland and it arrived super cold on the inside. I went to tell the staff who quickly replaced it with a proper warm one which was very nice of them. The cheesy fries were excellent, chunky with real cheddar, just perfect! It was a shame the scone did not come with clotted cream. Otherwise, a pretty nice little cafe!

They have dog friendly tables reserved for visitors with their pooches. Coffee tastes really nice and so does the steamed butterscotch drink made with milk of your choice. The pasty range shows a wide range of pasties, vegetarian options included. We had the cornish pasty and it tasted very original. Before home time we had their diary icecream which was nice too. All staff at this car park were nice and friendly and we were even shown the map of different walks and explained what we will see. We got drenched with rain but thoroughly enjoyed our day out. Thumbs 👍 up for an excellent service and experience.

A horrible utilitarian building staffed by a large number of disinterested workers who clearly don't want to be there. I have never been here before and I have no plans to return. The place has a horrible vibe that drains your energy and the harsh lighting is quite discomforting. The staff appeared so demoralised that I had to question whether it was worth enduring the torture of being there serving junk food and low quality coffee for garbage wages.

National trust member and regular visiter to longshaw. Called in cafe after walk, selection of cakes and drinks excellent, service ok, but staff seem totally unmotivated. Asked for a plates for our scones and were told they are not ready yet and to use cup saucers that were on the counter. Then asked for large plates and were given them reluctantly. A lady then came in to collect an item she had left previously, and was told the manager had gone home and they did not know where the item might be. I also saw people waiting to be served and being ignored. As someone previously stated the staff look bored and dont want to be there, which is a shame because it a nice modern cafe and lovely location. Hopefully things can improve...
