We went for a family birthday celebration on April 1st (22 people), we visited for the same persons birthday the previous year and had a good time / experience, so we decided to do the same again, being a large group we had to pre order our meals (which makes sense) we arrived at 6pm as per booking slot, our food took over 2 hours to be brought to our tables ! And it took 1 hour for the first round of drinks to be served to us.! There was only 1 waitress was allocated to us. (Who did her best) by the time we had our mains & desert and got the bill it was 10pm.! It took 4 hours from start to finish! The children where getting frustrated and upset as they was hungry, once our mains stared arriving by the time the last couple people got their dinner most of the party had finished there meals, my wife asked for some mayonnaise for her chicken burger, this was the last thing to be brought out with the last meal, by this time her food was cold🙄, I had a adult beef burger (rectangular plate shown in picture) which was nice, and one of my sons had a kids chicken burger, the kids meal was bigger than the adults ! The quality of food is good but not worth the money for the size of the portion (burgers that is anyway) alcohol was around 20% over priced, The establishment is nice, with nice grounds, the garden area is very pleasant, I would return for drinks in the summer, but doubt our family would ever return for a large booking again, it was surprising & disappointing how long it took to be served ! Especially as we all preordered our meals (I’ve flew to Spain quicker than I was served a burger!) the people who preordered there deserts left before they arrived as they was fed up of waiting (but still...

Table of 4. Quiet inside 1 couple already eating. but waited over 40 mins for our food. It's not a massive issue but I do wonder what it would be like to be busier, considering previous comments. Anyway the mixed grill was cooked nicely and enjoyed, could've done with peas. The chicken and the pork dishes were moist, and reported lovely. I tried the TAPAS menu. Unfortunately it doesn't live up to the hype. £21 for practically 3 little dishes. The steak and the chicken portions just came with a sauce not dissimilar to bottled sauces. The small corn on the cob was the worst value ever! quartered and smothered in , again bottle tasting BBQ sauce. Sorry, this isn't TAPAS. I ordered chips, which were cooked lovely. This TAPAS is very expensive for what you get. No flair or style. I would eat here again, but obviously not TAPAS. so 4 stars for the main meals, but 3 for mine. And as this is my account, I'll post 3 stars for my...

Had a meal here, pub owner was very rude, and made us feel awkard as pub is dog friendly so our friends bought theres along. There was someone else in there with a dog, and she left her table to bring dog over to ours and the two dogs then started to growl at each other to which pub owner was angry and said he didnt want dogs falling out in his pub. It was not our fault and during these covid social distancing times the woman and her dog should not come over to our table. The pub owner never even appologised to us and we wanted to leave but had already ordered food. Very dissapointed and food was more like cafe food. The only good thing was the young girl who waited on our table, she was lovely and...
