Chanced upon this pub by taking a gamble and following little sign on A6 indicating pub was next left. This pub is a little gem, it was nice and cozy with a lovely big log fire , and found it an absolute pleasure to find a real pub that was not a plastic palace but had that real charm about it.What I really enjoyed was the lovely food. The steak and stilton pie which was home made was the most delicous piece of pie I have ever tasted and with real home made chips a great winter warmer , and am surprised in a previous review someone complaining about the price of the food I thought the prices were fine.Next time I pass that way which Im afraid is not that often , will without doubt call in again.I really enjoy it when by chance I find somewhere like this!! and I I can say is keep up the good work.Just wish I lived in...

Firstly I would like to thank the landlords Steve & Jane, and staff for their hospitality and the local drinkers who make the atmosphere within the Queens Arms such a friendly pleasant place to be. The food was really nice home cooked and plentiful, would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of a night out. We had three great nights but sadly our planned 4th night was stopped due to the COV19 government actions to close pubs. Since we still had another night to go in the village, they provided an excellent takeaway meal for us to heat up the following night. When all pubs reopen in the future, I would strongly urge people to visit the Queens Arms and support them during this difficult period to keep the community lifeline going. I'll be back and can't wait....

New owners, ignore any reviews pre July 2021! We ate a family evening meal here on a Tuesday night whilst staying at Beech Croft Farm camp site. 5 mins from the site driving (I believe around 30 mins walk) and some parking available. It is very dated inside (although I'd love to go in winter judging by the huge log burner) but the new owners are renovating it, starting with the toilets which have been done to a great standard. Food was exceptional and beautifully presented. They even brought out the children's meals as quick as they could so they could start. Pies are made to order, so no reheating in a microwave etc. Food selection was impressive for a pub just starting out....

Stumbled across this pub as the path we should have taken had bullocks that wouldn't let us pass with the dogs. Took a different route and came to this pub. Amazing food and good beer. Arrived 30 mins before afternoon closing, pub was very quite. However with no negativity we were given a full menu and free choice of food. We were served a great meal which we ate in the beer garden. A member of staff came out well after closing time and cleared our table. Great food, good beer and amazing staff. Now we know this pub is here and so good, we will be back. Thanks to the team for looking after us.

Enjoying a pint or a meal at the Queens Arms is a must when staying in lovely Taddington. Cozy space, friendly locals and the amazing Jane making sure everyone is comfortable and made to feel at home. We had a wonderful meal on Sunday night and made sure to go back every night during our stay. It was such a pleasure not be in a "chain" establishment for once, it's vital that we support locally owned businesses when we can. The Queens Arms is a gem in one of the most beautiful parts of the U.K. I so look forward to going back.

Stumbled across this little gem en route to a birds of prey experience. We were tired, starving and bursting for the toilet. We ordered a couple of sandwiches with chips which were absolutely delicious, proper homemade chips and fresh crusty bread!!! The toilets were immaculate and service was friendly and swift. Plenty of parking which is always a big tick for me. Very pleasant, would definitely return. πŸ‘Œ
