Went for a round this morning, travelled over from Scarborough. Couldn't have picked a better day weather wise, a 4 ball teed off in front of us ( 2ball) and the pace of play was great, we waited for them to clear the first green then we were a hole behind all round. The greens are in superb condition though a touch faster than I am used to, this isn't a criticism as I liked the fast greens, they ran true too which was great. The gentleman in the club shop was very friendly and even a workman who was near the putting green had some advice for us regarding the course which was nice. Fairways were also in great condition. I'd say its a challenging course, especially with the blind shots you have to hit. I'd like to think I'd shoot a better score next time I come now I have a rough idea of where the best misses are. All in all I would definitely recommend people try this course out. It's probably a little different to what you are used to.
