In all my life I have never been spoken to in such an awful degrading tone. To be made to feel like unwelcome like that because I had a dog. The short haired older lady In question shouted to me in a rude tone from the building in front of all the customers. "We don't allow dogs, this is an eating area". I genuinely didn't notice the no dogs sign but didn't think it was a problem as we were sitting outside anyway. Luckily my mum hadn't ordered. I wouldn't have minded had the lady discreetly said "im sorry we don't allow dogs" but instead I was made to feel unwelcome in front of everyone and walked off site.

I accept they don't allow dogs and had I realised I wouldn't have entered but it was a genuine mistake that could have been addressed in a more friendly way.

I didn't get to try their food but going on customer service alone I wouldn't recommend.

This could be an amazing business as the views are beautiful and thinking about all those dog walkers in the summer. Just a shame about...

Terrible service, next time I'll bring a packed lunch.

10 of us arrived hoping to grab a coffee, 30 minutes before closing time. Sadly the staff informed us that they couldn't serve us coffee or tea, as their dishwasher was out of service, and they had no clean cups.

Slightly disappointed, but not deterred, we opted to choose some ice lollies for the kids...but were told we couldn't be served. Confused, we asked for bottled water, but were again told, we couldn't be served.

I insisted that we must be able to purchase some (overpriced) bottles of water, as there is nowhere else in walking distance, and we had young kids with us.

The lady behind the counter handed over 5 bottles of water begrudgingly, and hurriedly snatched £10 from me, and ushered us out.

We huddled out towards the carpark to admire the view, and were followed by the lady who wouldn't serve us, lighting up her cigarette. She was obviously more interested in getting in her nicotine fix, than serving...

Travelled 80 miles to the cafe ordered a ploughman's 40 minutes later still not served, asked staff ,response its on its way we can only do one order at a time... so left, shall be passing on my disappointment to various motorcycling groups. In response to owners unpleasant comments.. for motocylists the ride is the enjoyment, I was hoping to have some food and enjoy the views as a bird watcher I had binoculars, and intended to sit outside after eating for a time. 40 minutes is ridiculous to wait for ploughman's.Also your washroom facilities are wholly inadequate. Next time we will sit on the public land eat and drink our on food and enjoy the surroundings. This café was a nice place a few years ago. There are plenty of places to park we don't need to use ' your ' parking area, grow up you berk. clamping people fits your unpleasant character.you don't have much to say as you know you are in the wrong, attend to your shortcomings or leave the...

The first time I came to this cafe was over 35 years ago as a young boy and I will never forget how good the cheese & pickle sandwich was. Now here again in 2025 and of course had to have the same! I’m glad to say it’s still on the menu (albeit more expensive of course). It came professionally served on very soft bread and was worth every penny with its accompanying salad, coleslaw and crisps…… Delicious! They also take cards as payment (transactions over £6) and it is a great place to stop and eat. Very close to the Battle of Britain memorial so an ideal add on to a visit there. Great views of course too!

A really nice cafe perched on the cliff with stunning views out across the English Channel. The white cliffs of Dover one side and Folkestone on the other. The staff are lovely, friendly, helpful and one of them is usually singing along to the music 😉 There is inside and outside seating. We stopped off for smoothies made with real fruit and very delicious. The cliff side pathway is now closed so no access from below sadly. Steep slope from car park but it's only a short distance. If weather is good it's an amazing place to sit outside and rest a while while enjoying a drink or snack.
