McDonald’s — Restaurant in Dover

When I heard McDonalds was moving in I was pretty pleased. We pass the location once a week, and it's in a nice, peaceful area, so I thought be chilled, sit outside, nice and relaxed, whilst enjoying typical food and drink options. It's a sizeable building, but 95% is used by the business? I've never seen so few staff having so much space, with about 5-6 tables inside for customers. Very odd?? Talking of staff, clearly very measured based on customers that can actually walk inside, so very few. This leads to lengthy waits for food and drink. There's 2 (?) tables outside. So assuming overall the franchisee is basing this place on Drive Thru for most people visiting. They've missed an opportunity here. People will visit as said above; it's a great area. But if you can't sit down, then go anoulther 5-6 in either direction and there's a McDs where you can. Real shame. It's being wasted. Parking is shared; there's not...

Used this place a few times. Just picked up some drinks, diet cokes and they all taste minty, well spearmint sensation/taste... with a chemically smell to them.

Phoned up the shop to be told they don't have spearmint/mint flavours drinks.. no idea why all the cups smell of it, even now the taste is in my mouth. To far to drive to take them back.

Decided to throw the kids ones and my half one away.

Clearly not safe.

I would avoid this place as the person on the phone was less than helpful.

Unsure if it was the drinks or the cups. But be warned, something if off with the drinks. Taste before you give to kids please.

*Edit Like I said to the woman on the phone, I'm not looking for free drinks, or anything and too far away to come back, I just want to know they are safe.

Again another visit to Sandwich McDonald’s and for the 3rd time they have proved they cannot read an order and I now have an upset child due to their incompetence!. With an order of 3 Cheeseburger Happy Meals and 20 Nuggets I returned home to 2 Cheeseburgers and a bag of 4 bloody nuggets. To top it off they even forgot the 4 dips to go with the 20 nuggets. Avoid this restaurant and got to Westwood cross or by KFC as they know how to read orders. Thanks for an evening with an upset Daughter...
