Good basic scran. Honest home cooking and a real good old fashioned welcoming local pub. I had the chicken and it was tender and delicious. I think we visited during the main chefs holiday so there may be a different menu when he's back in full cook. Dogs welcome in the pub but they like to keep the dining area dog clear so no problem there you can eat in the rest of the pub with your dog. This is a proper pub,no frills and very reasonable pricing. It's under new management and already there are some improvements taking place. Very attractive from the outside with well cared for plants. I believe the kitchen is being refurbished which will soon put food on the menu. Compare the prices and service to other local pubs and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
