Friendly local pub. Lisa, the landlady is very friendly. They have the usual McMullen staple beers, and a guest ale or two which usually has a bit more flavour than McM's safe ales.

They have screens for the showing football, a couple of pool tables and regularly run different events/themes.

More lively on a Friday and Saturday night. Mid week and Sunday is more chilled out.

Lovely friendly staff, excellent service. Moderate selection of beers, could be better, only one real ale on, but that was a splendid mild. Big sports screens, lots of fat bald blokes with their shirts off. Nice garden. OK sort of pub, the staff are the best...
