Well..what a find!!! Travelling home to Yorkshire from the Skegness, we took a slight detour to find food..and we were very lucky! Not only was the menu outstanding, but the choice of Gluten Free options was extensive! The food was really well presented and cooked to perfection!!I chose the GF Mixed Grill and the GF Raspberry Roulade for Dessert. Full marks to the Chef! I particularly liked the Dessert Fridge, showcasing beautiful desserts a Gluten Free heaven! The pub is warm , comfortable and has a lovely vibe. Came in with my friends at the weekend to have a couple of drinks and they haven't seen the 'pub' since being reopened. Well I'm embarrassed to take them there as got funny looks straight as we walked in and to be made uncomfortable because we are younger ones. My friend tried to make conversation with the male manager only to no conversation and walked off with a face on him. Supposed to be our local, not any more. As this as recently been taken over by new people.They have made a fantastic job of the refurbishment it's amazing.The open fire from one room to the other was very welcome on a very cold day. The beer was very good the food(we had the Sunday lunch) it was superb we definitely will be going out and trying there menu for the evening menu it looks wonderful as well.
