Absolutely dreadful. Over priced, staff couldn't care less. Won't come again. Your poor food and rude staff ruined what should have been a lovely family occasion. I feel that the owners have given up, maybe they've got greedy as this used to be a great place to go. If you want a good carvery there are much better places to go in Sutton on sea. Also looking at the replies on here to negative reviews, it's obvious that the owner hasn't got a clue about how to deal with people. And yes I did complain at the time but your uninterested staff did nothing.
Ha ha love your reply. It sums up what horrible and disgusting people you both are. Glad your pub is shut as well. We've just booked Sunday lunch for 6 and we're not adding to your millions.....we're off to where the owners appreciate their customers and the Sunday lunch isn't the dreadful offering that the Fat Seagull does! If you don't do a carvery what do you call the rubbish you serve to people on a Sunday? I'm a fraud am I? No just a customer who thinks you're a rude cow.
You can't even remember us. I complained as the Sunday lunch you served was dreadful. We never asked for an extra plate. You are the rudest cow I've ever met and a liar. Sue me if you want. You are a...
Read moreStopped when we arrived, had a lovely hot cup of Latte with a brioche bun with a sausage, Mum had it with bacon which she said was so tender and tasty. The cost was £5.50 each for the Bun and a Coffee. We came back later in the day and had the most lovely Fish and real home made Chips with Mushy peas which had mint sauce in and was very tasty , it came with Tatar Sauce which is also home made. The cost of the Fish and Chips was £9.50 which we initially thought was expensive but oh boy, it was worth every penny. Mum had a cold 7up and I had a Cappuccino which again was very hot. We did wish they were in proper cup & saucers rather than paper cups, but understand that someone would have to do the washing up. Mum is in a wheel chair, and we found it perfect for her, even the toilets which were clean had a comfort height toilet, and grab bars so very suitable for anyone lets say on the wobbly side. The whole place is very clean, lots of love staff, and very pleasant sitting outside. Have already recommended it, and will...
Read moreRather disappointed really. Great location and lovely setup, but just seemed to miss the mark. Thin plastic glasses that you would use for kids and not particularly eco friendly. The menu was very limited. Just think that they are missing a trick. In answer to your initial response; Why are plastic glasses down to Covid? Why is the menu down to Covid? Other concerns in the town seem to have been able to cope adequately and move forward. Please also don't be so condescending. Where have I been for the last 18 months? Well running my own retail business and not looking for excuses but looking for ways to improve things for my customers.🤔 As for looking after your customers, when I visited today no one, either your guests or the two staff wore any face covings at all. Also I would suggest that if you are that concerned you could do something about the state of the overflowing bin in...
