Very friendly _ Beautiful location.

Looking away from the pup opens onto a beutiful valley. They didn't serve food on the night we stayed which was a Monday. However the beer was great and the staff excellent. It is completely dog friendly and great for a motorhome stopover. No electric hookup but that shouldn't be a problem for most people.

Near the end of the evening the Landlords wife brought some chips and onion rings around for people to share. They were delicious. If they are a hint of the food at a weekend it should be excellent.

We went in on Thurs night yes it was very busy we went to order our drinks first when we s d jed the landlord for some ice to go in my coke he made a very rude comment we ordered starters and mains after over an hour I politely asked if he could find out how long our starters would be NO I Won't he said you will just have to wait I explained we had waited for over an hour so what do you want me to do the food eventually came out it was very good and good value for money but the landlord needs to be more nicer...

Just stopped off for a quick drink and toilet stop after a long drive on our way to Cadwell Park Raceway which was holding the British Super Bikes round that weekend. Found the pub by accident and it was just opening for dinner. The pub landlord was friendly and helpful as the choice of beers good for a small public house, plenty of seating outside and a car park round the back . Will try to make it a regular stop next time I visit Cadwell. Carl...
