Very friendly _ Beautiful location. Looking away from the pup opens onto a beutiful valley. They didn't serve food on the night we stayed which was a Monday. However the beer was great and the staff excellent. It is completely dog friendly and great for a motorhome stopover. No electric hookup but that shouldn't be a problem for most people. Near the end of the evening the Landlords wife brought some chips and onion rings around for people to share. They were delicious. If they are a hint of the food at a weekend it should be excellent. Remember - this is a pub thet serves some food - not a restaraunt.

Just stopped off for a quick drink and toilet stop after a long drive on our way to Cadwell Park Raceway which was holding the British Super Bikes round that weekend. Found the pub by accident and it was just opening for dinner. The pub landlord was friendly and helpful as the choice of beers good for a small public house, plenty of seating outside and a car park round the back . Will try to make it a regular stop next time I visit Cadwell. Carl Gorton Photography

We stayed in a motorhome for two nights. Brilliant spot. Friendly landlord and staff and unbelievable prices for the food. Stayed for free, just had a drink one night and a meal the next but no pressure to do so. Thank you Damien.
