5 Star Service and Food from start to finish. Exceptional quality and one of the best experiences we've ever had eating out. The owner should be so proud of a wonderful team they have.

I phoned in the afternoon after finding this on Google as our plans had changed, the lady on the phone was professional and polite, providing us with what we needed to know in terms of food service hours.

We arrived around 20:15 and driving up to the pub, on first viewing it is one of those proper country pub feelings, very traditional and English, just my cup of tea. Beautiful hanging baskets and flowers outside, a children's playing area and generously spaced car park.

Upon entering above the door, a sign displaying, Enter as Strangers, Leave as Friends.

As you enter, a traditional contemporary step back into time greets you, a lovely bar area which then leads you into a very tastefully layed out, whilst modern, in keeping dining room.

The menu offering is that of a traditional English pub with some modern twists but not over bearing with jazzed up novels you see elsewhere. A straightforward and to the point menu...Perfect! Also, a kids menu with an excellent and healthy choice of dishes to choose from. Everything is very reasonably priced and value for money. They also offer a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The staff were very polite, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Very professional, attentive and excellent service.

We ordered two ranch burgers, one doubled up, and a children's chicken nuggets.

The food was faultless. I've been a chef in the Catering industry for 15 years and this is way up there with some of the best food I've ever been served. It was absolutely delicious. The burgers were homemade, beautifully cooked, insane homemade onion rings, the bacon was perfect and just how I requested - crispy but not overdone.

Additionally our sons chicken nuggets was nothing less than excellent and by far the best he's been served to date. He is quite a fussy eater and for him to pretty much clear his plate speaks volumes to how much he enjoyed his.

I will be recommending this pub to many when we go home to Hull and certainly will be without question returning again.

The only shame is that they don't do food on a Sunday.

This will live long in our memories. Thank you for such an...

A little bit of context of the review.

We booked for a table of 6 at 17:30 on the 1st June 2024, we arrived just before 17:30 and were shown to our table, our drinks order wasn’t taken for 20 minutes so I went up to the bar to order, the drink took another 15 minutes before arriving at the table.

Following the drinks our food order was taken, while ordering we were informed that the menu differed from the online menu and they didn’t offer the options on the online menu.

We placed our order, roughly 45 minutes after arriving, this was a clear sign of thing to come.

The food roughly took 25 minutes to arrive, however my dish was wrong and it took another 3 attempts for them to eventually get it right although all they did was replace the same food even though it had food groups to which I’m allergic too.

Also, a young family were in the restaurant, they server a 3 year old a side of gravy in which the child brunt her had, none of the staff knew how to deal with the situation and left the child screaming and the parents shouting for cold water.

We won’t be going again, overall a very poor experience, poorly trained staff and not a manager with any...

Rating based on more recent experiences. My wife and all our family members regularly for years use this pub.Although always Fantastic food and drink it is more than often marred by too many dogs in the bar/dining area. Most recent "Saturday" evening within the eating area, dogs boisterous around the tables licking and slavering around me and my wife's arms and legs. Do we want that whilst trying to eat our main courses! NO! Unecessary and most dangerously very unhygienic in an eating area. Dogs, unless guide dogs should be well away from eating areas or better still OUTSIDE .I am a previous farmer and have had many dogs.I never took them out with me to a pub or restaurant! This is a fantastic pub with a huge customer base, Ron a cracking landlord. It doesn't need spoiling. Obviously we will continue to go here but insist booking in the separate dining...

We ate and drank heartily at the Ebrington Arms. Wide range of great beers on tap, serving traditional English comfort food. We were staying nearby at Stockmans Cottage, Woodhall Spa and our host AJ remarked that there were not many traditional pubs like this left in the area, so we made sure to drop in. Kirkby on Bain is ideally located just the other side of an adjacent field from the cottage, so guests are able to walk to the pub without having to drive, which means another (and another) round of pints for all!

Lovely, traditional village pub serving meals, guest beers, plus a large selection of whiskies and gins. Been a couple of times, but not eaten off the menu, albeit very tempting with good pub food aromas wafting about. There is a beer garden with play area, outside seating area, and inside rooms for formal, informal dining. Really traditional Batemans pub and friendly, attentive service. It is dog friendly and has house dog treats for your furry friend.

During our stay out at Woodhall Spa, we came across this beautiful village pub down the road from our camp site. In Kirkby on Bain. Very friendly staff, quick service and oh the food did not disappoint at all. 10/10. Great service from the bar maid, kindly replaced my pint after a wasp had decided to land inside my drink lol. We will definitely be returning in the near future that’s for sure. Thank you for a lovely evening.
