Me and my boyfriend have been here twice and honestly it is the most incredible food ever, the whole atmosphere and customer service is brilliant along so along with a big variety on the menu and it cooked so tasty is now my favourite reasturant I have ever been too. Couldn’t recommend enough I’ve been telling all my friends and family about it.

Excellent Sunday Roast, tender beef, roast and mashed potatoes, nice selection of freshly cooked vegetables. Lovely Yorkshire pudding and extra jug of gravy. Good value at £9 or £11 with dessert. Superb home made apple pie! Efficient friendly service. Cosy atmosphere. Well worth a visit!

Under staffed, cold food, microwaved deserts. We had to stack our empty plates so they would be cleared. We had to take the glasses to the bar because they didn't take them after numerous visits to the table. Neighbouring tables were clearly frustrated at the service to.

My husband had his first experience of flying a plane today at Tatenhill which was a birthday gift. As such a lot of the family wanted to come and watch (including friends from Finland), we looked on the internet for a nearby pub for 15 of us to have a Sunday lunch. We are not familiar with the area and, after a conversation on the phone with a grumpy and rude person from a pub in Marchington, we decided to leave that one and try the Coach and Horses. What a difference! The manager and his wife were so friendly and eager to help. I just wanted to say we had a wonderful meal-beautifully cooked, delicious and generous portions catering for every need. The roast beef was very tender and there was a wide variety of more than enough vegetables. The staff were all so polite and helpful. The atmosphere was very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. There were 3 children in our party and we played on the upper garden, which felt like our very own private garden- with bats and balls. Thank you! we had a wonderful day and would thoroughly recommend...

Well what can I say!!!! My mum booked a table a couple of hours before we wanted to arrive by phone which was answered within a few rings. On getting to the pub we found our table to have been set up for the 4 adults and a fleece blanket on the floor for our dogs. (what a lovely touch). After sitting it the table the owner/manager brought a bowl of water for the dogs. The food was well presented and very tasty. My husband saved our dogs some of his meat and the owner/manager took it into the kitchen a put it on two bowls so they each had a fair amount each. I would totally recommend this pub in...

In the middle of Storm Darragh, we turned up with no advanced warning, not sure if food was being served (officially it wasn't...). We were welcomed in, a fire was lit, and we were served delicious food, with extra options being suggested with each course. Beautifully cooked, and served, we all had a great steak and ale pie and chicken burger with all the trimmings. Puddings were great, and wonderfully unusual. All, very reasonable and we were offered a generous voucher, should we return. Many thanks to the young lady at the bar/reception who went above and beyond, and the kitchen staff,...
