We recently purchased a chicken shish kebab and a lamb kofte wrap. We placed our order and proceeded to pay with a card. The owner informed us it was cash only so we had to go to the cash machine and come back. Our order came to £21.50 which is slightly pricey. We were given a handful of change. I didn't want rice and just garlic mayonnaise. When we opened our order chilli sauce which we didn't want had leaked everywhere, there was no salt on the chips and no extra bread as promised. After many recommendations from friends to try Istanbul we finally have. I cannot fault this establishment at all. From the initial taking of the order to the receiving of food it was all done in such a meticulous way. We didn’t eat in we had a take out and have to say it is one of the best takeaways I have had for many years. The chicken and lamb dishes were absolutely superb. So succulent and just melted in your mouth. The rice and salad were just amazing. The only regret I have is that I haven’t tried it...
