Little Dessert Shop Burton Upon Trent — Restaurant in East Staffordshire

An absolutely dreadful experience. I ordered two chocolate concrete cakes, which were served cold. I had to request for them to be warmed up. When they brought the cakes back, they were still cold. I asked again for them to be heated, but the staff seemed too preoccupied with their phones.

What baffled me even more was when they asked if I wanted the custard warm or cold. I’m sorry, but what kind of dessert place serves cold custard?

To top it all off, they made us go to the counter to collect our dessert, even though they knew we were dining in.

I’m not usually one to write negative reviews, but this place really needed to be called out. I hope the owner or manager takes this feedback seriously and doesn’t continue to rely on these young staff members who clearly lack both customer service skills...

Great staff and service. We went in the store to try it and they gave us a warm welcome. I had the taste of heaven cheesecake with white hazelnut and it was amazing! Then the second time I ordered, there was a mixed up then the card machine failed that I had to get cash from the cash point. When I got home I noticed I didn’t get the right cakes, sauces and no ice creams. I rang them and they tried to send replacement. The replacement was still wrong but after all that palaver I just had to accept the cakes and not cause any trouble anymore. An hour later the owner himself showed up to give me the right cake, and now I have 4 cakes in the fridge! They were apologetic and were very friendly, they went over and beyond replacing it and sorting out what was missing. I would highly recommend, great staff...

Booked for my sisters 18th birthday. No welcome, guy just looked at us when we said we had a booking before mumbling that we could sit down. Chairs crusty and dirty, been open 30 mins and tables not wiped. Peeling wallpaper and floor not swept. No music or ambiance, just the sound of fridges.

Advertised aircon but wasn't on, they opened the door without asking what we wanted. They let the phone ring and ring. Service was apathetic and they didn't have buttons on the till to input some of the things we ordered, so it took even longer. Had to ask for spoons with desserts. We were the only people in there!

Food is ok but way overpriced for stuff that's obviously ordered in and...
