Fynn Valley Terrace — Restaurant in East Suffolk

Waited an hour for our breakfast, asked waiter how long our food was going to take, he didn’t come back with an answer so had to go to the tills and asked again and his response was “I think it’s coming”. He must of not even asked, so his colleague ended up answering me.

People come after us and ordered got their food before us don’t know why.

3 veggie breakfast was with poached egg but came with burned fried eggs and overcooked rock hard halloumi. Cold breakfast. No extra halloumi received.

Kids pancake doesn’t write there is bacon ended up coming with bacon so removed bacon as the child couldn’t wait anymore for fresh one and one of the pancake was burned, so she didn’t eat.

Didn’t bother complaining as we didn’t want to wait so much again and I am pregnant so didn’t eat at the end.

They didn’t even asked how our food was.

Half table was cleaning by taking the plates, but other half was on our table until we left

Spend over £125 for 5 of us, but will Never return back. It’s a really shame beautiful place but food and service was awful.

Also funny thing was as we were leaving one of the staff was sarcastically saying bye and thank you to me didn’t even turn back and replied.

I have eaten here a few times in the past few years and the food has always been excellent. My friends had their civil ceremony here just over 4 years ago, and again, the food was top notch. A couple of days ago I had a Christmas lunch here. Unfortunately for me, I have a gluten intolerance so it had been acknowledged by the kitchen.....I had the turkey with the trimmings!!! ......what trimmings? Instead of an effort being made to cater for folks like me with gluten intolerance and replacing the pigs in blankets and the stuffing with a GF option (they are available as ive bought them in Sainsburys and Tescos!!), they simply just took them off the plate!! I was still charged the same price for my meal. The vegetables, especially the sprouts were so overcooked they'd gone a funny colour and tasted bitter, and I love sprouts! The venue itself is lovely, and the staff were excellent and very friendly, but I'm afraid Fynn Valley, you need to pay attention to what's happening in your kitchen. I left feeling quite...
