The Rhythm of Bike was well worth the Hike!
Walking for Miles, So carefully tread Along the steep, scary cliffs of old Beachy Head, Working up a hunger, in the afternoon sun, Stopped at a shack, that looked lots of fun
Cadence by name and so friendly by nature With plenty to offer and a rhythm to abate ya Hot sandwiches made and easy to order Reasonably priced, so all can afford her
Totally smitten, by the so helpful staff Who could all share a joke and up for a laugh Even the grumpiest and rudest of folk Could not break their stride, or put them off their stroke
All of the Sandwiches, were named after stars From the world of cycling and bent handled bars We went for our favourite, a bit of a cheat A 'Naughty Armstrong', a real 'Tour de treat'
Pastrami on toast with gherkins and all With taste so sublime, it answered our call We waved our goodbyes then made for the Inn One for the road, before darkness set in.....
Thanks guys so much guys, been here twice now, great service, fun and thanks for looking after us ...see you again next...

We have been regular customers, almost daily, since it opened last year but we have decided that we will only visit when Oz is due to be there. Sorry but you will be losing more customers if this continues to happen. If people, like us, have to find somewhere else to go because of this regular in scheduled closure they may...
Read moreFirst time going to this cafe, and would never return. Sausage bap for £4.50, had no filling, no butter, no sauce. Just 2 sliced in half thin (definitely a frozen batch) of crispy flavourless Sausages, in an airy bap. Same price for bacon bap, which my son had, and it was bad. One small piece of bacon, surrounded by a block of butter and thin airy bun, he couldn't eat it. Brownies were £3.75 each, they are small, dry and barely any flavour. They would do so much better if they served better quality food, for the price they are charging. Its a shame.. spent just under £50 and definitely...
