Attached to and part of the garden centre this cafe/bistro is an amazing place for a meal or just a coffee and slice of cake! There is a large car park although it is a little bumpy and can be wet and muddy in bad weather. The toilets are external to the cafe located in the bike shop/garage on your way in from the car park. The entrance way to the cafe is ace, decked out really well as a log tunnel. Once inside the area is spacious and welcoming, the staff were welcoming and friendly; straight away you are presented with a fantastic cake/pastry display. Menus were offered and taken immediately there was plenty to choose from I decided to have the bacon, brie panini which came with salad and chips. I also couldn’t resist a slice of quiche, there were many to choose from. The coffee was very good I chose to have mine with oat milk and the classic americano but again there were a lot of options. Outdoor seating is available if the weather allows, some of it is covered some is completely open air. The selection of cakes and bakes in addition to the menu is excellent with so much to choose from you’ll struggle to make a decision. There is also a decent kids menu and milkshakes available….we had 2 children in our party, they left very full and very happy indeed. Based on this experience I will certainly be back; I used to go to the cafe in the farm shop almost opposite but actually I think I will prefer this venue in future mainly because there are more options on offer.

We popped here one Sunday for breakfast and what a little gem we have found. The atmosphere was lovely and the cafe is dog friendly. The food portions were plentiful and the star of the show on the breakfast was the sausages which were delicious. I wasn't expecting that toast was extra, usually it comes with the breakfast, but it was delicious all the same. Unfortunately the food was warm and not hot , we did let the server know and she advised us that they had some new staff in the kitchen so hopefully this wouldn't happen next time. In addition to this, my hubby ordered a flat white which was on the small side, so as the food took some time to come, he had drank it all before his food arrived. Next time we will either order more than one drink for him or look to see if they have a larger drink that he could order. The staff were lovely and very efficient. Overall a good experience and we will be back to try some other dishes on a delicious looking menu.

Tucked away, this well stocked garden centre has the extra added bonus of the #Stove bistro, serving delicious fresh food, cake and fantastic coffee. I also called in for a very reasonably priced cooked smaller breakfast, substantial and tasty, with a variety of your breakfast favourites. Friendly, obliging staff, spotlessly clean, and the warmth and comfort of the blazing wood burning stove. Now my preferred place for cooked breakfast, lunch and coffee when I'm in the area.

Dreadful experience. Waited 40 mins for a drink and for the table to be cleared from previous customers. Then waited another 25 mins (65 mins in Total) for our food then when it arrived one meal was spilt all over the table. Yes they did replace the meal but had to wait another 15 mins and that meant we didn’t eat together. Manager refused to offer a refund for the spilt meal. Offered 10 % off which we were not happy with then settled on 50% off one meal. If only the meal had been worth the wait and the hassle. Will definitely not be visiting this place again and put us off using the garden...
