Superb cake! Only a little place that offers takeaway or you can sit in the small garden, with some sheltered seating. Dogs allowed in garden. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Cakes and soup all homemade. Offers sandwiches, tapas, melts etc. I had a lovely Ecuador hot chocolate and a delicious slice of homemade fruit tea-loaf with yummy Wensleydale cheese. Was so good, two ladies on a nearby table coveted it and both ordered the same. Would definitely revisit and recommend. Gets busy, may have to wait a little while for table service, but definitely worth it. Yum!

Great wee cafe with indoor and more extensive outdoor seating in the very popular village of Kettlewell. Savouries were excellent and the cakes get a mixed review. Lemon and blueberry cake was top but the carrot cake which looked equally nice was very disappointing being dry and tasteless. Hence only 4/5 for food. Varied menu, great service, good location.

What lovely ladies! Great food. A refreshingly different menu from the norm. Thank you. I couldn't leave without some flapjack, which was very tasty and therefore didn't last long, as I'd eaten half of it before we got home!

Came here twice whilst on holiday in kettlewell. The first time we went there was hardly anything left to eat and a meagre amount of choice. The next time we visited this establishment we had just done a 4 hour walk and were ready for a drink. However..when we got there..the waitress told us to take a seat ( outside as no room inside) and she would bring a menu. So we obligingly did so..and waited..and waited for the menu and although we had arrived before another couple they were instantly given said menu straight away. So I queried this with the waitress who didn't seem that bothered..although the customer passed me the menu. (Bearing in mind there were only 6 people outside being served). My partner had ordered an American which arrived in a cracked cup and he wasn't asked if he'd like hot milk or not. After a little while my pot of tea arrived ( why wasnt both drinks bought out together?). My cup had a large chip in it.. And although I asked for extra milk none was provided, until I asked again! The woman taking the payment was very curt and actually quite rude. Id not recommend this place in any way shape or form. Try the pubs..much more friendly..courteous and they actually have...

I did a 23 mile walk from Horton-in-Ribblesdale to Kettlewell on a baking summer's day. Early start for me to get to Horton at 6.30amish. Beautiful walk, a fair amount of uphill and down dale. Timed it to connect with a bus to Skipton. There is no finer way to celebrate completing something like that than with an Earl Grey. I was euphoric, sweaty, stinking, bleary-eyed and chose the takeout option to sit on a bench next to the river running through Kettlewell. Nice looking deli counter though only glanced at the menu. Really friendly staff, really nice Earl Grey - probably all the nicer after all of that. After finishing it I noticed that the cafe/deli had a nice garden area I could have sat it....
