We often stop here on a long journey from the South West of England to the North East.

The menu is fairly broad and offers good value for money. All the food is well prepared, cooked and presented by friendly staff.

The cafe can get really busy in peak periods, especially during summer holidays but at other times it can be quiet and relaxing.

The car park is in a poor state with massive potholes so be careful when driving in.

Came here as we were staying at one of the local big hotels for a couple of nights, it was much cheaper to come here than eat at the hotels. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a smile from the gentleman running the cafe, nothing was too much trouble, me and my wife had medium breakfasts with extra black pudding which were more than enough to keep us going all day, big size portions and the quality of the ingredients were all very good.
