This place is a traditional old country pub but the decor was stuck in 1970’s, vinyl seats, swirly artex, no atmosphere and nearly empty. The starters , spring rolls, tiny, finger sized but a good portion. The Thai fish cakes were presented as 6 little blini type pancakes, there was absolutely no hint of freshness or fish, very unpalatable. Vegetable tempura, was very nice and my husband had the samosas which again was very nice. Non of the starters seemed fresh, other than the Tempura I firmly believe they were not made on site. The main meals, son had chicken satay sticks, plentiful and tasty, he was happy. Other son crispy chicken, this was so salty I really didn’t want him eating it ( he’s 11) the chicken was so crispy it actually wasn’t there anymore . My husband had a vegetable curry which was tasty with plentiful vegetables. I had a beef red curry, the bowl was full but ingredients were minimal, maybe, 2 green beans cut into thirds, less than a fifth of a pepper, the beef virtually non existent , genuinely about a fifth/sixth of a normal sized sirloin steak cut up into tiny pieces. The rice was perfect and the sauce while very thick was very, very tasty. The nan bread was shop bought tiny and heated up in microwave where outsides were so hard could hardly be eaten. Saying this we did eat everything as we had starved all day and portions were small. We asked for a desert menu which was non existent the only desert on offer was a very poor quality ice cream. The wine,Merlot was very good quality. The bill came to just on £100 that was with only 2 alcoholic drinks and 4 soft drinks. My son asked for a coke but non was available other than diet. The whole place felt wrong it felt as though the landlord had gone to Thailand and picked up an unskilled chef from a poor region and returned to U.K. with him or her to cook in his pub. Again though I must say the staff were lovely. I’m really sorry this is my honest review and am saddened by...

We live locally and eat here and have take aways quote regularly, we have always enjoyed the food and found the staff friendly and polite…until….. We ordered a meal, collected it and when we got home found it was the wrong order, and in fact was of a much lower quality than usual, it ended up in the bin, we called them and they were very apologetic and offered to replace the meal or refund, we said that we would re order at some point and they said that would be ok and we could have that free of charge. We re ordered this Saturday and they remembered us and said to come and collect it, when I arrived I was met with the same young man who had normally been very polite, this time he was aggressive and told me they don’t give food away for free and demanded I pay 50 %, I reminded him it was a replacement for food that went in the bin and they had offered the replacement meal, he just kept repeating that they don’t give away free food, all of this in front of others waiting for food. I was thoroughly embarrassed by this very rude and foolish young boy. Eat here at your own risk, the food is generally good but the staff have no idea how to deal with a legitimate complaint, Nor care about the people they...

We always choose Thai when we there’s the option near where we were staying so we were really looking forward to this place.

Initial impressions were good, the venue is really nice and the staff all seemed to be of Thai heritage so we hoped the food would authentic and of good standard, especially when we saw the prices which seemed pretty steep when compared to other Thai places we’ve been.

Like most people, we don’t mind spending good money when the food is good.

My kids had pad Thai and it just didn’t really taste of anything.

I had pad kra pao which is supposed to centre on Thai basil and was shocked to find just normal basil used which completely defeated the object of the dish.

My wife had salt and pepper chicken which wasn’t too bad to be honest.

The starters were really poor and pretty tasteless and the portions were tiny. We ordered a chicken dish which was supposed to be presented on a bed of lettuce but was just a handful of chunks of chicken dumped on a plate with some sauce.

Don’t get me wrong, the food wasn’t bad it’s just that for the price our expectations were much higher and we hoped it would be a lot...

After reading some good reviews on this place we decided to try it. We were not disappointed! Food is Absolutely delicious! and very authentic. We had different meals with chicken, beef and prawns and they were all superb. No chewy, oily or greasy. It was just lovely. Staff is friendly and attentive. And yes, like other people have mentioned, the place is not glamourous or fancy but it doesn't matter because you are here for the food which is fabulous. We'll definitely be returning to Chang Noi soon and recommend it to friends and family.

We hosted a baby shower here today, and it was a wonderful experience! The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The food was delicious, and the private atmosphere made the event feel even more special. Highly recommend this place for any gathering!
