This place is magnificent! A hidden gem in Horton. The owners are really nice and welcoming. The food was fantastic and so were the prices. You can pay with card now (seems that it was not possible a while ago). If you are looking for a hot drink and some really nice soup, sweet treat or sandwich after a hike in the area, this is the place you should go to! (avoid Horton's pub!!).

Lovely little old fashioned tearoom run by a lovely friendly couple, which we used twice whilst staying in Horton in Ribblesdale. The menu is basic but the prices are very good and you won't go hungry. We took some sandwiches away with us too for our walk and these were also tasty and well priced. We will certainly come back next time we are in the area. Thank you.

Headed over to your tea room this morning after reading great reviews only to find you closed. Travelled from Hornby and then chose another tea room at Cowan bridge. Modern technology on Google reviews but no opening hours. I telephoned the number and a Indian fellow answered saying I had wrong number. I got a picture and that was it.

I do not think you could get a more authentic experience short of being invited into someone’s home. The tearoom is literally a room in the owner’s house, and their living room is only a bead curtain away. That has upsides and downsides: you will not get a latte here, but you can get a bite to eat and a pot of tea for about £5, and you can see family mementoes on the mantelpiece as you...

Out for a ride on motorbike and stopped here, a regular stop if in this area. Always nice, inexpensive, Heather the owner makes all the food, cakes n jams herself. Didn't take photo this time as posted a few if the attached holiday cottage previously. Lovely building, definitely worth popping in if in the area, sit in or out. Have sandwich etc and homemade cake or homemade scones n jam...
