Popped to Kimmeridge to meet with friends and their kids for the day (we only live 90mins away), decided here for lunch. Got to say impressed. I went for the crayfish baguette with "some" chips - and got a plateful; lovely fresh baguette too. Mrs P opted for the crab thermidor on toast, and reports it's very tasty. Friends tell me their food was superb too. Customer service is a reflection of how you engage with the person serving you, I have to say I found all the staff polite, chatty, and friendly. It's not the cheapest, but then it's not cheap quality - as with all things you get what you pay for, particularly in relation to seafood, and the location is outstanding. Yes, we'll be back for lunch before the end if the season!

My husband and I ordered fish and chips. The food was extremely oily, looked like fried several times. The prices were expensive. The personnel not very friendly. My husband had an upset stomach in the evening as the food was just too oily and hard to digest. Chips were not really edible. Our son had a burger and left most of it on the plate as was too oily. Perhaps for a coffee this place is fine but would not recommend for food. We visited in May 2024.

I loved the chips, they were really really nice. And I really liked the raspberry sorbet, because it was really fruity (obviously, because it’s raspberry). And, um, um, it was kind of sour but I liked the fact that it was kind of sour. The lady that served us today was really really nice because she kept checking if we needed anything else- and the view was really nice. The view was of the sea. Written by Ella, 8.

Rude member of staff. She was passive aggressive as I'd asked earlier what time the last order would be and was told 5 might work but they couldn't guarantee it as it wasn't busy so they may close early. At 17:40 they were still open after a flurry of people had ordered, so we asked if we could still order and were told we had 3 minutes. Then as we ordered she said, "I did suggest 5pm for an order" so we said that's fine we'll leave it", she replied, "Oh no that's ok go ahead" so we did and her comment.... "That'll go down well with the kitchen!" Needless to say after such snippy service and mixed messages we cancelled the order. Just a week ago our son ate there and said it was lovely, he also ordered at 17:45 and said it was really quiet! Either stick to the times you advertise (and get new and pleasant staff) or expect poor reviews and sales, I won't be recommending you. I only write good reviews as a rule but this really annoyed us all after an otherwise lovely day. And we won't bother again with...

No one eats here parking is a rip off food even more of a rip off if you want to spend £18+ on a single fish and chips be my gest but I've never seen such high prices on my entire travels, boycot would bring this place in to charging normal amounts for food and parking the £10 to £20 per a person here is rubbish when chips alone cost £5.50 again a greedy business taking advantage of tourists uk is getting worse and when I asked about the price I was hit with attitude and rudeness from the staff definitely didn't feel welcome after questioning the food price and quality again no one eats here every time I'm here just a coffee shop basically hate leaving g negitive reviews but maybe the owner will see this and implement change making it affordable for all to enjoy such a shame greed comes...
