I ordered jacket potato with tuna mayo , it came served on a paper plate with disposable cutlery , I can honestly say this is the worst meal I’ve had , the potato was disgusting., I’ve no idea when it had been cooked, , obviously reheated in the microwave. , I was hungry after a long walk , however I left most of it , I also ordered a cup of tea , again served in a paper cup , the tea was stewed , horrible ,

Perfectly positioned at the meeting of the Devoran to Portreath coast to coast path and the Redruth to Chacewater Trail it's a welcome starting and/or finishing point for some great hikes. There's free off road parking a few hundred feet from the cafe too. I park up, grab some cake and coffee from the cafe and then hike all day. If I'm lucky the cafe is still open when I get back. We probably shouldn’t have done but we had to finish off with the scrummy churros and various Kelly’s Ice Creams available. Great place to go for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and cake.
