Cracking home cooked food and pastries. Attentive, friendly owner. Great mix of clientele. Exceptionally dog friendly. Great facilities, very clean I had the pork and stuffing bap with chips. So very tasty and massive portion. Almost finished it!! Dog menu available too. 100% recommended.

Edit: Several revisits and have never been disappointed (except when there's no cheese pie left). Lovely pastries as always, and the slab of corned beef pie was like nanna used to make. What a find! We were looking for a cuppa whilst in the area and ended up having a hot pork and stuffing bap with real, meaty gravy on. It came with the best chips I’ve had in many a year. Everything in here is home made and it’s wonderful, and there’s cakes included in that.

The owners/staff are SO friendly and the place is immaculately clean. Despite living half an hour away in Newcastle we’ll definitely be coming back again.

Absolutely delightful café with great staff, freshly prepared food and homemade cakes which are delicious. 😋 The café is also very dog friendly. 🐕 Finding the cafe is a little tricky but it is well worth the effort. The cafe has had new houses built around it and access to the café is down a short alleyway. Easy once you know where to park.
