Visiting the area for a few days and called in, had a lovely lunch, the meat and potato pie was homemade and just like I recall my nan making. Enjoyed it so much we booked to return for Sunday lunch which was fabulous, made more so as I'd told them I had a dairy allergy and they cooked all my veg separately, such a great touch as usually I just have the offending items removed, not replaced and end up with half a meal, so big thank you. Everything was cooked beautifully and to a high end restaurant quality. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly, nothing was too much trouble, this was with all the customers, it felt like visiting family. I'd give Amy and her team eleven out of ten, well done and good luck in growing your business. Will...

What a gem of a find. We are only recently local to the area. But worth a drive if you are further out. This was a gem to find. Beautiful walks and scenery. Fresh air, RNLI , ferry to Piel Island from March. Food was amazing, hot, tasty and fresh. Amazing selection of drinks. Didn't try the desserts as was to full. Saw some wonderful afternoon teas coming out as well. Does this place do everything.... Seems it. Also has toilet facilities, and looks like outdoor seating and takeaway.

And the cherry on the cake. Really dog friendly, Perry had a sausage to himself and dog biscuits... He also gives it 5 stars :) Amy and the Staff do an...

Lovely little cafe /Ice cream bar situated on the gorgeous rampside looking out towards PIEL CASTLE and the LIFE BOAT STATION. lovely staff, ample parking (although understandably gets busy), great place to park up, walk and picnic and just chill and enjoy the views. Has it all surrounding it , boats, scenery, the sea (with sands so yes you can paddle here), very quiet, very nice, hot or cold food ALL very nice and fairly priced, has indoor out door seating. Definatly one to visit.
