Brandysnap Bistro — Restaurant in England

We were accommodated at the last minute for our favourite meal out during our honeymoon. Adam had taken the time to remember our names from our booking and our table had been decorated with confetti which was a lovely touch.

The food was amazing. We highly recommend the choices we made including the smoked mackerel pate, the goats cheese filo pastry, the special of pork two ways and the lamb. We thought we were beaten but managed the creme brulee and the brandysnap basket with home made ice cream.

As a vegetarian, I'm usually presented with a choice of vegetable lasagne, macaroni cheese or some sort of bean burger when eating out. At the Brandysnap I was delighted to be given an entire vegetarian menu with a variety of fantastic choices for starters, main and pudding.

I had the twice baked cheese souffle, followed by the Homity Pie - absolutely delicious and highly recommended!

What a wonderful dining experience. We were warmly greeted and talked through the menu, with particular attention being paid to the allergies we had declared. We were undecided about the wine, so were offered samples to help us choose. The food was sublime. Each course was delightful. There was much 'oooohing' and 'aaahing'.
