This is a great little find surrounded by bucolic Northamptonshire countryside. A short stroll along Stables Lane hints what to expect on the approach, thereās plenty of car parking spaces. Cafe Monde is situated at the end of the lane, with indoor seating and when the weathers good thereās more in a courtyard and the patio facing countryside.
The indoor setting is good, I noticed plenty of cakes and a varied menu for all tastes. I have a food intolerance and I noticed the meticulous care taken on food hygiene.
The service was very welcoming with a good local vibe, but not intrusive. Coffee great quality.
I came for a quick coffee and happily stayed for brunch.

Initially we sat in the cafe but there was a faint smell of fat in the air so relocated outside onto the patio area. Was slightly confusing which way to go for a person never having been,but found it ,did look closed from the outside, a sign or sandwich board would have been good.
