Arrived here on mothers day. Parking a bit of a challenge but found a space in the end. We waited a good 15 minutes to be seated from when we arrived. We hadn't booked and was just looking for a drink and a light lunch. Staff seemed to be very disorganised and too many people doing the same job, it looked like a better structure is needed. Quite surprised by the wait with the amount of staff on as well as the empty tables. Anyway food and drink was very good. Cappuccinos hit the spot. We had some ceaser salads with sides of garlic pizza and sweet potato chips. Fairly decent price point. Great place to sit by the river for a drink on a sunny day and love the retractable roof, superb for the summer. Certainly come back again and hope the service is better as this really was a sticking point otherwise I'd be giving 5*

We had a seafood pasta & risotto, both very nice. It was such a hot evening, no fans or ac & lots of glass, it was packed, almost too busy for where we sat (by entrance & bar) everyone was walking past us, so felt a bit overwhelming & spoilt what was a nice meal. Only really 1 waitress & barman who were run off there feet & did amazingly well considering the heat & number of people.

I visited Casa Bianca for lunch during the week. There was a pleasant atmosphere with a reasonable number of guests. We sat out on the covered deck area which has a good view of the toll bridge and river. Our meal was excellent and the service very efficient. It was good to have an Italian restaurant again within a reasonable distance. Will certainly return.

Visited for a birthday on Saturday 20th June 3024. The food was lovely HOWEVER the attitude of the staff was appalling and very unaccommodating, and the layout was overcrowded and crammed in. We were a party of 9 and we were squeezed on a table suitable for only 8. Massive chairs with limited room to walk between tables. We also had a pram and there was no room at all to get it through or past any tables - same would apply for a wheelchair. We requested to move for more room for the 9th person but it was even tighter. I asked if three of us could sit on a different table and the response I got was “we are fully booked and there was no reference to a pram on the booking, we would need to get through there for service”. It was nothing to do with the pram, it was the fact the 9th person had to sit facing outwards and climbing over the chair to get in. And the fact there was no mention of the pram on the booking is irrelevant, I presume if it was a wheelchair that’s the same response I would receive, as though it’s my problem that I didn’t state it when booking. May I add, I am a new mum with a 4 week old baby, and if you require everyone to state they have a pram, you should really put this on your booking requests. This particular member of staff was rude and the only assistance she offered was to “split the table in two” when there was clearly no room to do that. This isn’t a place welcoming for wheelchair users, newborns...

I’ve visited Casa Bianca a few times now and while the setting is great and the menu is varied, the service has consistently let it down. Unfortunately, this issue came to a head during my most recent visit on Saturday with friends.

When it came to paying, we were told there were outstanding items, despite all of us having settled our bills. My own payment was among those supposedly missing, even though I showed proof that it was pending in my bank account. Additionally, there was an extra starter on the bill, which I initially thought we had forgotten to include, but it turned out the restaurant had accidentally charged for one too many.

I had to first request a refund for the overcharged item and then explain to the manager (?) that my payment had been processed on my end. Despite showing this clearly on my banking app, she insisted I pay again because it wasn’t showing on their system. I found this frustrating and really poor service. I was told that if both payments went through, I could call and request a refund.

Sure enough, a few days later, both payments were taken from my account. I had to call back to request a refund, which was processed reasonably quickly, but without any apology for the inconvenience.

That said, I do want to highlight the excellent service from Jemima, our waitress. She was attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful, in contrast to the otherwise disappointing...

Booked for early lunch for a table of 4 adults at 12.30. Pretty location, with free carpark and good views of river and toll bridge. Outside and inside seating.

Quick and friendly service. They accommodated requests to change tables to a river view, turn off the heater in there and open the roof etc!

Food and drinks were delicious, great quality and we didn't wait too long for food. We are all vegetarian and had a good selection to choose from on the menu.

Parking was quiet on arrival. When we left at 2pm ish the Car park was busy with some people waiting for a spaces to becomeavailable. There is adequate waiting space.

The restaurant is quite small and it maybe hard to a avoid large noisy groups in there. It's comfortable and cosy.

One of my lunch group always finds something to complain about and this time all she said was that the food was excellent, which is unheard of. Well done...
