This place has definitely got the right name! We went there for Sunday lunch on a very wet and windy day to be greeted by friendly and attentive staff in a warm, cosy, and clean pub. The food could not be faulted and there was plenty of it. My niece had the roast turkey which she said was perfectly cooked and very tasty - we think that it must have been from a local farm. I had the vegetarian nut roast which was also very tasty with a goats cheese topping. It came with cauliflower cheese and plenty of mixed vegetables & gravy and the whole meal which was reasonably priced at £10.95 for the roast was finished off with coffee and a scoop of ice cream. The coffee was a little expensive at £3.65 but considering the value of the meal and the wonderful service, I am not complaining. The whole pub was also beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and the ambience was of a lovely traditional country pub.
