This is a super find overlooking the sea. It is a hut serving light snacks, afternoon cream tea, hot drinks soft or alcoholic also ice creams. The seating is on a selection of benches outside, some with umberellas and all with the most amazing views out to sea. Toilets are at the back of the beach hut. The quality and presentation of the food is superb together with friendly and helpful staff. There is also a very small caravan park nearby. If you walk further down there is an idyllic beach tucked away. You can carefully drive down to the cafe with a small parking area although signs say unsuitable for motor vehicles. It is a steep downhill and in most places a single track bumpy pothole road. Can be a super walk down and a bench to break up the uphill climb.

When you finally get down to the restaurant / cafe the views are to die for but the road down is horrific and you will need to be careful not to damage your car on the way down. We ordered bao buns and some small plates as we wanted to try variety, don’t order anymore than 3 small plates between two after bao buns as you won’t eat it all. Our bao buns tasted sensational with some being Korean pork and the others being soft shell crab. We also enjoyed a jug of freshly made pimms which had the most incredible flavour with lots of lovely fresh fruit too. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is due to the approach, the rest of the experience was really enjoyable for the money.

Beach cafe in lovely secluded spot near St Catherine's Lighthouse in Niton Undercliffe. Access via foot path opposite the Buddle Inn, which can be steep in places. You can also access via track by car most of which is fairly bumpy as you get nearer café. Small little Fishing port too, Adjacent to the Coastal Path so good for walkers/ dog owners. (Coastal Path has collapsed in places so you can't use it to go Eastwards. Good fare at the Café & friendly staff who also have biccies for the dog. Offers alcohol too. Great views.

Having read all the good reviews I was excited to visit this cafe/restaurant, but our visit was not the best. The location is great, the atmosphere was lively and the waitress was also lovely and helpful but I wasn't impressed with the food. The starter arrived quickly and was good but the main took ages to arrive and then when it did, it was stone cold. It was a wagyu burger and at first I thought that I had just got salad and dressing and had somehow missed the meat, it was that cold. The next bite I ate was just burger (because I was suspicious now) it was cold. Of course I sent it back and waited while the rest of my group ate. When they were finished, my mains arrived. This time it was fine but still marginal on being hot. For the price, the meal really didn't represent good value or excellence. It was just ok. There are plenty of choices on the Island with really excellent food, I'm afraid this isn't...

Lovely food and setting but let down by being overcharged for all 3 main meals from the specials board (didn't study the bill until we got home or I would have queried it.) I should have noticed because 105 pounds for 2 courses and 1 beer each is a bit steep for 3 people. But I was distracted by being turned down for the buggy ride back up to the main road. The buggy driver didn't even come over in person to apologise as he was wrapped in a blanket enjoying the company of other visitors. We only booked this venue as we were offered the buggy ride back to the car. It was a long uphill walk back to where we had been instructed to park and that put a damper on an otherwise...
