Another fantastic meal, beautiful venue with outside seating covered & uncovered for meals fantastic for disabled usually in other venues we have to move from the wheelchair to the seat in order to be at the right height to be able to eat comfortably.. well obviously the venue values all disabled people and you can choose to plate your own food because they already thought about it when designing the Venue.
Thank you again To all of your staff because they 100% deserve just as much praise.
This time it was my mums 64th Birthday, when we said over going for a meal my mum said “where we went for mks 15BD” that was the first time she had been.
It will Now it will be the only place we go out for meals. We have been on 5/6 occasions, this time we were looked after by a young man called Kade. Not only is he a credit to the establishment/company. Story His customer service skills Are 5* !! Only thing is for people like me on pain meds it gets very warm inside the venue… However there is outside seating both covered & uncovered along with a smoking side and non smoking side. Thankfully this time the weather was just right 🥰 we explained that my medication makes me hot anyway & there was absolutely no hesitation in offering us to go eat outside at the beautiful quality table & chairs by the time we had moved outside from about 20feet inside.
Kade and the young lady set the table and asked us if we wanted to order food or a meal. I have never had such amazing 5* service as I do when going out for a meal every time! I cannot express enough just how amazing Kade and all of the staff are. I don’t know their pay but it should be the same as a Michelin star restaurant!! Regardless of how busy they are, there is nothing that’s “to much trouble” your made to feel welcome and valued but it’s like being at home because the staff are so amazing. I have ordered from the menu as have my family and we are all served together, there’s never been a time where anyone has ever said that they didn’t enjoy their meal and comment on just how amazing the food and service is. This time when going once again for a carvery the food is absolutely delicious, fresh & cooked to taste like a good home cooked meal with love. We fully recommend this restaurant to everyone we know. Unfortunately because of my pain medication I am permanently hot so being able to sit outside in the sun with my family and enjoy such a beautiful meal was amazing! The staff didn’t hesitate to help us. Even when my mum was pushed to the carvery part, it was fantastic because normally she had to just ask my dad to get her because most other restaurants don’t allow enough room for the wheelchair to go along. The staff (Kade) along with the carvery staff even offered to push my mum through or carry both my husband’s lager carvery & my mums. Because of the way the restaurants set up it allows wheelchair users to actually choose their own meal as the counter is low enough.. for us disabled people that really makes a difference to us. The serving staff are just as fantastic as the floor servers. I wish I could give more stars because they really deserve far...

Chapelford Farm is a welcoming and well‑tended community farm conveniently located across from the Chapelford Sainsbury’s on Santa Rosa Boulevard. It beautifully blends countryside feel with urban convenience, making it a perfect family outing spot right on the edge of Great Sankey.
🌱 Atmosphere & Grounds The farm is compact but thoughtfully designed. Gently winding gravel paths lead you past flowerbeds, small gardens, and rustic fences that give it countryside authenticity. The setting is peaceful, and the layout invites a relaxed stroll, with benches scattered in shaded spots overlooking the green well‑kept lawns. Seasonal colour comes alive with displays of bedding plants and vegetables depending on the time of year.
🐟 Animals & Wildlife Chapelford Farm isn’t a full zoo, but it does have friendly farmyard animals — goats, sheep, hens, and occasionally a pig. There’s a small pond area where ducks swim, and around the boundaries you may spot local birdlife, such as robins and smaller finches. It’s ideal for young children to meet animals in a non‑commercial setting.
🌼 Community & Events Throughout the year, the farm hosts small events like seasonal markets, gardening workshops, and school group visits. These events are community‑oriented and often free or low cost, encouraging local families to engage in gardening, crafts, and outdoor learning.
🚗 Access & Amenities With the Sainsbury’s car park right opposite, parking is easy. The farm has a small entrance area with a few plant sales racks and a donation box. Public toilets are available inside Sainsbury’s nearby. There’s also a bench area with information boards describing the planting and wildlife, which is great for education.
👨👩👧 Family Appeal Families often gather here at weekends to let children explore safely, feed the farmyard animals, or sit and enjoy a snack brought along. While there’s no café, the neighbouring Sainsbury’s does offer café facilities ideal for grabbing drinks or light refreshments.
🌿 Purpose & Character Chapelford Farm feels like a slice of countryside rooted within an urban neighbourhood. It's run with community spirit—clean, cared‑for, and educational. A visit here offers a short but sweet escape from busy routines without needing to venture far.
✨ Final Thought Chapelford Farm is a charming and peaceful space perfect for families, local gardeners, or anyone seeking a brief taste of nature. With its friendly animals, welcoming atmosphere, and convenient location, it’s a lovely spot worth visiting in the Great...
Read moreChapelford farm is usually a great family friendly pub. I'd be happy to take anyone to relax and have some food or a drink. The food is good and the service is very friendly, in the daytime.
Unfortunately, I'd stayed too late on a weekend with a few friends and had a desperately awkward experience with them as when we attempted to have a peaceful pint and a catchup, a member of staff began to vulgarly broadcast intimate details about her dating life across the whole building, resulting in the entire place quietening and the manner in which she conducted herself became very overbearing.
It appeared that even the other staff felt rather uncomfortable during this time as they tried to pacify the staff member as she kept on shouting about a boy she'd been with and his new girlfriend.
It's a really great place to be if you're outside and if you speak to the staff during the average service as most are really sweet people, but otherwise you would be better off just walking to the Sainsbury's across the road if you want to unwind later on. Big disappointment as I really enjoy the food there.
I'm not sure if management usually tolerates this, but I'd rather just go in during the daytime and not find out as it only appeared during the later hours and really dampened our night.
Good food, mostly nice staff but very poor...
