Went to Cibo yesterday for a quick lunch with a couple of mates. Today went again and took my daughter. This restaurant does not look much from the outside. However, once inside it's very cosy, alfresco and very welcoming. The front part is similar to a sun lounge with blankets draped over chairs in case it gets chilly. The main part indide is set out with 2, 4 or 6 place tables. The service was excellent and so was the food. The menu is varied and a specials board is also on display. The premises are licensed with all sorts of alcoholic drinks from cocktail to mocktails or coffee and tea. Parking is to the rear, but limited in space and if you're not careful you could get hemmed in. We parked further up the road near the community centre where the first hour is free and the price thereafter is reasonable. It is open during the day and for evening meals as well. I would recommend you book a table for the evening meal. Having been twice now, i have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. Well done and thank you for a pleasant experience.

This is always my first and favourite stop when visiting the Isle of Wight. We hadn’t planned to come here—it was a last-minute decision after arriving late and looking for somewhere to eat. Even though the kitchen was due to close soon (orders were stopping in 10 minutes, and the restaurant an hour later), the staff welcomed us in, which we really appreciated. We started with the pork belly bites. It was delicious, especially paired with the coleslaw—highly recommended. The wait for our mains was a little long, but absolutely worth it. The mushroom risotto 🍄 is incredible—probably one of the best I’ve ever had and definitely a highlight on the menu. I’ll come back for it! For dessert, we tried the tiramisu. It was nice, but not as memorable as the other dishes, so I’d probably skip it next time.

Wasted dinner Was here yesterday, decided to book after I’ve seen so many good reviews and also Italian food was never bad. Until yesterday. It’s just too average and absolutely not worth the price. Paid £16.50 for salmon and courgette spaghetti to get normal spaghetti (it actually was much worse than normal spaghetti you’d cook at home as made from cheap flour). Was told they don’t do courgette spaghetti and I was wrong. Today I specifically checked the menu online and appears I was right. I do not recommend. It’s not even good pasta. And especially not for the price they ask.

Absolutely incredible. My partner and I came here whilst on Christmas holiday.

The restaurant is so pretty, with twinkly lights and nature inspired decor around.

The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and accomodating.

For starters we shared Brushetta and it was delicious! The chorizo swirls and sweet tomato combination was very yummy.

For mains my partner ordered the Mushroom Truffle Risotto, it arrived hot and well presented. It was full of flavour and creamy.

I ordered the Hungarian Beef Stew with Oven Cooked Gnocchi and Cheese Cratin .Oh my goodness. Wow. I normally don't order red meat as I'm a bit funny about textures and chewy meat. However, the meat was perfectly cooked and melted on the tongue. The Gnocchi was buttery (not mushy at all) and the stew was packed pull of flavour, spices and a little warmth/spice. Perfect. Compliments to the chef!! I would eat that every night for dinner if I could.

The drinks were great. Didn't have to wait at all really and they were nice and strong! I had a few cocktails and asked for a mock tail to be made specially with alcohol and they were more than accomodating.

We shared chocolate fudge cake for desert (it was huge!!) With ice-cream. It was a nice finish as it wasn't overly sweet or fudgy. The staff brought us out a little special drink each because it was our anniversary. It was very lovely and really made our night. (THANK YOU!)

We finished with a cocktail and a coffee for him (driving) again very good!

The staff were very lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely night. The prices of the resturant were very reasonable and I would highly recommend eating here.

Only thing I would add is please add a tipping service to your card machine! I forgot to bring cash and I wish we could have tipped you.

Thank you for a wonderful meal and a romantic night...

Cibo is a true gem! The moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the fantastic decor that transported us straight to the Mediterranean coast. Our visit couldn't have been better timed – we stopped by before catching the ferry back to England.

The staff at Cibo were absolute stars, especially during what could only be described as our baby's most epic meltdown. They handled the situation with grace and kindness, making us feel at ease and even managing to put a smile on our faces. The level of customer service was truly exceptional. The customers were very kind too, offering kind words and empathy.

Not only was the atmosphere delightful, but the food was also a culinary delight. The Mediterranean flavors danced on our taste buds, and each dish was prepared with evident care and attention to detail. The menu boasted a wonderful variety, and we left with full and satisfied stomachs.

Cibo exceeded our expectations in every way, providing a memorable and heartwarming experience. If you're looking for a Mediterranean escape on the IOW, complete with excellent food and a staff that goes above and beyond, Cibo is the place to be. We'll definitely be returning for...

My wife and I have traveled extensively and our expectations for dining are generally pretty low. As long as the food is "okay" then we eat and move on. It is actually quite rare to find a place that does everything perfectly. CIBO in Wootton, Isle of Wight is one of those rare places. We were greeted warmly as we walked in and seated at a widow table. Breakfast (I was starving) was a full English breakfast served in a cast iron pan. Flawless! No room for improvement! I asked for black coffee with honey. You might be surprised to learn that a simple thing like that is beyond most restaurants. Not at CIBO. No problem and there it was before me. Now, I am not a coffee expert but that was one great cup of coffee. We were served by "Munshun" -- the kind of person you wish you had as a friend back home. We were special we were taken care of; we felt like "WOW" this place is great. Honestly, I give CIBO my highest rating. When things are bad I certainly let them know. (The wife hates it when I do that!) But when, only once in a great while, things are perfect then I rave on about it. You really must visit. Take the ferry there if for no other reason. YES --...
