Absolutely woeful,
Ordered takeout from Cinnamon Club due to our regular curry house being extremely busy , should have know when the above was able to take our order and be ready to collect within the hour, when our regular stated it could be anything up to four hours for orders to be ready , ( New Years Eve) this says something about how popular the cinnamon club is, should have sent alarm bells ringing straight away.
Firstly I ordered x3 main standard dishes Korma, Lamb Rogan Josh and a Chicken Tikka Masala nothing wild. I arrived just after the expected pick uptime to wait a further 40 mins before receiveing my takeaway.
Then to find out once at home they got the order wrong by only providing X2 mains, missing the Lamb Rogan Josh.
Called to explain the error to be told sorry about that you can have the money taken off your next order. ( Why they would think you would go back is beyond me )
Absolute joke , the service was poor the food we did get was terrible, flavourless, luke warm with the meat being tough. With the wife having to go without her main and share what was provided.
Not what you would expect when your order was that simple and paying restaurant prices.
A Woeful restaurant avoid, trust me there a much better takeaways in the area.
Did get a refund after speaking with the manager but no replacement meal and nothing for the...
Read moreWhat an amazing hidden Gem, I was out for a drive with a friend, we had planned to go to another Indian restaurant but it was over booked, so we decided to drive out and see what we could find, anyway we just happened upon this place and they were able to fit us in. From the moment we walked through the door the staff were amazingly friendly, it felt like I had been going to this place for years, the restaurant is contemporary with an old world twist, the on tap lager, was crisp and cold, the food choice is bedazzling, the serving staff are very attentive, when the food arrived it was, well WOW is the only way to describe it, I had the royal mixed platter and it was £19.50 and worth every penny, the food was all cooked to perfection all the meat and prawns were very succulent and full of individual flavour, the nan breads were cooked fresh and were also full of flavour, I asked if the waiter, Saj, would pass on my compliments to the chef, which he did and then the chef came out of the kitchen to thank me for my compliment s, really love this place and will be back sooner rather than later, thanks again to the staff for w...
Read moreThis was our first visit of more to come. The staff was lovely and friendly, which is always a plus. What can I say about the food? To start, obviously 2 popadoms, but they were out of hot pickle, and i don't like chutney. Well, the onion bajhi was the best we have had. We had chicken chilli massala and chicken garlic chilli massala, and it was rated 2 hot peppers - it was! It's so good but much hotter than expected (not complaining). We had two portions of rice and a side of bombay aloo, which had some kick and again very good! Then a chilli cheese garlic naan - couldn't taste the garlic but I think because we had so much spicy food. 2 brown ales to drink, which totalled 62 quid. It was an expensive dinner out, and next time, we will point out we probably fit in the 9.99 special per person. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and glad others kept saying we...
